I was never a fan of dentist's until very recently when I discovered Dr. Brian McCaughey. First of all from the moment I entered his surgery I was met by a lovely lady named Teresa. She was so friendly and helpful she put me at ease straight away. I was greeted by Brian and I found him very professional and friendly and he told me what was wrong and what he would have to do. The work I needed wasn't covered by a medical card but the job he carried was for a very nominal fee. I couldn't believe the price was so low. My third visit to see Brian today, another 2 root canals and honestly he just makes everything so easy. Ensuring I was okay throughout the procedure, both the Dental Nurses and Brian were exceptional. There are other dentists around, as there always will be but I can state with absolute certainty that there's none better than Brian. I'd recommend him so highly to anyone who needed a regular or emergency dentist after my experiences with him. He's honest with you too - doesn't sugarcoat things - because realistically dental health is so important (trust me) and sometimes you have to hear things to turn a corner. I surely did. I seen reviews online that grange dental were excellent at what they do, I had my appointment today and I was a bit apprehensive but once I met Brian and got talking to him I was put at ease immediately, he is so friendly and makes the whole experience very personal which makes it less daunting in my opinion. I got my teeth cleaned and I am delighted with the outcome! I will definitely be coming to Brian with all my dental needs and be giving his details to my friends and family! I have been going to Brian for sometime now, He is so accommodating and always goes the extra mile, doing that little bit extra for the same price. My wife Margaret had a big problem with a broken tooth a couple of months ago and the always friendly receptionist Teresa did a bit of juggling to squeeze her in. Had a tooth removed this morning and didn't feel a single thing .I couldn't believe how quick brain had removed my tooth with zero pain. I was Very nervous and brain made me feel very comfortable. Therese the "practice manager" has an appalling manner of speaking to people. Absolutely horrendous behaviour from her after calling to arrange an appointment for a 16year old who has been up all night in pain! Repeatedly asked her to stop speaking to me in that manner to be told "you don't know me, this is how I speak to everyone"!!! read more

I went to Brian last week he gave me fillings and a deep clean. Nicest man, he also gave me toothbrush, floss and expensive toothpaste For free! he made me feel very relaxed as I don't like going to the dentist but he made me feel so comfortable.
