Firstly 99 Euro for 2 nights accom, 2 surf lesson, board/wetsuit rental and bus to the beaches - great value for money. The instructors Josh and Erick were also great and really patient, especially when us absolute beginners were almost wiping each other out! It was also great you get some nice hot chocolate when you get back and feel a little bit fragile from the waves kicking your a**. They also hold a BBQ on Sat night for a fiver. and the place is great, just sit outside in massive area with views of the ocean or can go inside to the kitchen of the hostel (raining or getting late). But definitely going to go out here again, the people are great, the quality of equipment and instruction and the store/hostel are all top notch!

In term of service they offer great surf initiation, if you know your stuff you can still borrow a surfboard and go on your own. For example I choose to surf one day and an horse ride for the Sunday afternoon which was perfect. Overall I strongly recommend them even if you just want to chill outside Dublin for a few day.

Fionn McCools is a excellent little surf shop situated opposite the Sandhouse Hotel overlooking the…read morebeach. With its bright green front you really can't miss it. They stock everything you need for surfing, a range of boards for beginners to pros, wetsuits, booties, gloves, wax, mens, women's and kids kids clothing and a small range of snacks. They also hire out boards and run surf lessons and have a changing area round the back. Boards cost €17 for 3 hours which isn't too bad. Staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable re all things surf related.
