The floor was so gross, the chairs are so old and outdated and it seemed clearly overbooked. I waited well over an hour for my visit. They didn't ask for my copay up front but then had the nurse ask me why I didn't pay my copay? As if I was suppose to wave my card around and beg someone to pay. She was nice though but it was just odd. Then another lady comes in who I assumed was the doctor (she wasn't, she was another nurse) and agreed with me and with what urgent care said (basically that I need lifestyle changes). Suddenly the doctor rushes in for LITERALLY less than five seconds and says "hi" signs a form stupid fast and goes "bye." I must have looked confused because the nurse goes "oh that's your dr that is going to do your procedure" excuse me?? We hardly had any time to talk or talk about my past or my health? Also, the little room you wait in has no AC and it was hot as heck in there. After waiting FOREVER to pay my co pay (which apparently they should have taken before the appointment) I was led into the front office, which was terrible looking and the front desk lady was very nice but paying and getting out of there was the best part of the appointment. I will NEVER return here. Yikes. This just felt like a money scam.

Over the past five years I began to throw up almost everything I was eating. Dr. Frank, my gastroenterologist during a routine endoscopy saw a hiatal hernia that no previous doctor (believe it or not) saw. He recommended I see Dr. Seigal. I was able to get an appointment and Dr. Seigal sent me for preliminary testing. My hiatal hernia was preventing my food from fully entering my stomach. Dr. Seigal told me in a manner that made me feel comfortable that robotic surgery was the way to go. Two weeks ago he performed the procedure and now I'm eating food again without any issues. Dr. Seigal is a very well trained surgeon and has (as they used to say) 'Great Hands' which is what you want from the doctor that is going to operate on you. Best of luck to you all, but you won't need it with Dr. Seigal. After giving her my name and DOB, she immediately stated, "Oh, you missed your appointment on the 7th." I then stated, "Yes, I literally just stated to you I missed my scheduled appointment." She then proceeded to talk amongst herself about me! Then she stated I am giving her different information and said, "Well, WHATEVER!" I immediately let her know that was rude, and instead of apologizing, this woman tried to berate me and continued to raise her voice, overtalking me, so I ended the call! I am currently researching a new doctor. It's unfortunate that I loved Dr. Denk and his work! I will not come to any appointments here anymore. Indeed, Dr. Briseno spends a lot of time with his patients, however, much of that time is spent on him typing and talking into his little recorder, or taking a call from "his neighbor", or discussing his military service. Had he given our concerns a minute of attention, he might have discovered that my husband was indeed very ill. The fact that many reviewers comment on Dr. B's military service and the amount of time he spends with patients explains why he didn't have time when it was my husband's turn to see him.

He personally calls you on the phone if labs or tests come back with something he needs to discuss immediately instead of having a nurse call you to setup up another appointment. He never rushes you even though he is extremely busy. Sometimes your wait time is a little longer but he is well worth the wait. I highly recommend Dr Charles Briseno.
