Not a bad place. It's pretty much by itself on the long empty stretch of the Interstate-10 East or West from or towards California not too far from the border. For being off the beaten path, it's not bad. It has a little dog park where you can walk your dog, the gas prices are decent (for some reason they advertise only diesel on their sign - this time regular was 30 cents cheaper than diesel), they have a gift shop that has bathrooms, clothes, supplies, and snacks to buy. They used to have a food place like Subway and/or something else, but they got rid of it which is sad. I guess there wasn't enough business. The men's bathroom was kind of messy today. We stopped to use the restrooms (clean by the way), and left with some of the best chicken tenders in quite awhile. Very fresh and meaty. Highly recommend ! The man who waited on us was very personable. Cheapest place we've eaten since being in California for the last week. read more

Stopped here to use the loo. I was greeted immediately upon entrance. The bathroom was clean, and I am grateful because I really had to pee! I also bought two Power Ade drinks for $3.00 and some coffee. The Hazelnut Creamer was questionable so I cleaned it for them lol and then used it. read more

Always extra clean , during the pandemic they kept the doors open for fresh air and stayed open and sanitized . They have propane Lp refills by the gallon during daylight hours . The also Sell DEISEL GASOLINE. Lovekin road can be a little "sketchy" with homeless people & dirty badly lit parking lots . I always feel "safer" getting gas here than some neighborhood options. We were driving to Arizona from Orange County and this was the middle point for us to switch drivers and take a little break. There's a Quiznos next door to the convenient store and there's another Shell across the bridge. I didn't see the price since we weren't getting gas. The price for regular was $3.69/gallon, which was pretty high. I'd recommend that if you have enough gas to get you through the next three or so hours to Arizona, fill your gas up there because when we got to Arizona to fill up gas, it was about $2.70/gallon. The restroom itself is okay on cleanliness. It wasn't anything special, just your typical gas station restroom. read more

Since we were just passing through town, stopped to fill up and grab a couple of cold drinks. The place was satisfactory. Didn't need to make a restroom stop so can't Yelp that area. This location is conveniently located just off the Fwy on Lovekin Blvd, It's an older place and it shows. Compare to all of the newer mini marts, this place needs a complete renovation. Needs to be cleaned, sanitized, inside and outside. Bathroom is a mess, didn't blame the girls for now wanting to use it. Now the service was good, workers were very nice. There is also a sandwich shop inside which is great. Everything is locally priced so expect it to be higher then usual. The area has a high amount of homless, so don't be surprised by it. I went into the store recently in the evening...to use the restroom and buy some drinks, I was passing through from Arizona, and #1 I was NOT GREETED OR ACKNOWLEDGED by the employee who was working at the time... so I went ahead and went to use the restroom... only to turn around and walk right back out because #2 restroom was DISGUSTING, there was fecal matter on not only the toilet seat, but the wall as well!! I attempted inform the "absent" young female employee, who was outside too busy smoking her VAPE to even acknowledge that not only myself but 3 other customers as well who were waiting patiently at the register for someone/anyone to ring them up so they could continue on their way as well as myself... so ultimately the 4 of us ended up waiting for approximately 10-15 minutes before the young lady FINALLY mosied back into the store and WITH AN ATTITUDE (as if we were an inconvenience to her) managed to "pull herself together just enough" to FINALLY ring up our sales. When it was my turn to get rung up, she not only had a negative attitude, but was extremely rude/snotty towards me, as well as in my opinion EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL. I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING TO THIS STORE AGAIN!! I would rather RUN OUT OF GAS THAN TO BE TREATED THAT WAY AGAIN!! From what I overheard, I understand the young ladies name was brittney...? Worst service ever!!! I have a small service dog, Peter, he is trained to paw me when he senses I may have a seizure, to let me know to sit down so I don't get hurt falling. I was in the store for at least 15 minutes and I was refused service by Robert the "Manager", because my dog whined seeing the food in my hands as I came to the counter to pay because he was hungry and got excited. Robert insisted that my dog was not a service dog, because he's apparently an expert! I promptly went outside. Then, Robert refused to serve a young woman travelling with me on Greyhound, because she offered to go and buy what, Robert, refused to let me purchase. So evidently, Robert is a self proclaimed expert on non- visible disabilities and the abilities of service dogs. Robert also refused to give me the number to the corporate office, so I could file a complaint. I travel this route often by bus and will gladly not ever come back to this store for any future purchases. read more

The business is located in an area the boyfriend and I passed by (and it was about the halfway point to our destination) so we stopped by to pump seome gas and grab some snacks for the road. Everything here is like a standard gas station. The gas pumping area seems a bit further away from the main store itself, so if you have to use the bathroom real bad, get dropped off first! The inside of the bathroom was decently clean, no odd smells. It's a convenient place to get gas and off you go back to your trip! read more

One of the worst Shell stations in the Southwest. Super convenient but 9 times of out 10 there are problems; the last being not able to actually buy gasoline, even though the pumps were all on and accepting payments. Usually over priced and the employees are clueless. read more

So I drove 2.5 hours on 7/13/15 to meet up with relatives that live further in Southern California. Before heading home to Arizona, I stopped by this gas station to purchase cigs for my spouse (as they are cheaper than in AZ) and some other items. Make sure you count your purchase before leaving if buying multiple items. Had I known that the cashier, Viviana, could not count to 7, I would have double checked. About an hour into my drive home, I looked in the bag, checked my receipt and found that I was charged for 7 packs of cigs but only received 6. So much for trying to save a few dollars! read more
