This is the ultimate truck/rest stop as they have laundry services, a game room, showers and clean bathrooms. They have so many snacks, drinks and two restaurants to choose from- Cinnabon or Wendy's. Located a few miles from the AZ state line, the price for regular gas w credit card went from $5.40 CA to $2.30 AZ. Damn!! The Wendy's inside was busy but they ran a well oiled operation. In their main shop, there were many packaged grab & go options; sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. Numerous coffee creamer options, tea, etc. Central bathrooms were clean & well stocked. read more

Cinnabon is a fixture here and a must have every time we stop here for gas. Gas is $288/gal diesel $4.88/gal currently. I am always too late to get their soups at 12-3AM unfortunately (I keep thinking about that pot pie soup to this day!). Their snack and candy aisle is always prepared with some tasty treats. Staff always seem buff and pleasant. Never tried their public restrooms so I can't share how they are here for being such a high traffic stop. At 2am- no teslas at the charging stations so it's a big contrast to during the day when the charging stations are usually a line a few cars back. read more

It is spacious inside, and has a wide selection of snacks, drinks and food (and souvenirs). There is a Wendy's attached, they also sell hot food and there's even a Cinnabon inside. Went in to replace a dead phone charger. Of course they had one! The smell of hot pizza stopped me in my tracks. Oh my! Pilot Pizza sold it by the slice, so I got two different kinds. Both were bordering on true excellence. Hot and yummy. By the way, very clean, with helpful employees. read more

Anyone doing the drive from Phoenix to Southern California knows that you will have to stop for at least one bathroom break which can be a nightmare. The flying J truck stops are generally a good choice. Gas for cars, trucks etc... not just snacks but this location also has Cinnabon which is huge for a sugar pick me up. Stopped here on my way to Arizona. It gets the job done but is not a luxurious stop by any means. There is a small hotel connected and a fast-food spot. Some grassy areas for pets as well. They do have plenty of parking, Tesla charging stations and lots of gas pumps. Good quick snack options but nothing substantial. I did take off two stars are there is much the owners and management should work on. The rubbish bins were overflowing at 9 in the morning, restrooms were closed down, had to go to where the showers were to use the restroom. TV was broken, advertises a game room... no games just storage now. The coffee bar was dirty and there was trash all over the floor. Unfortunately, most people stop here out of default. I honestly wish I didn't have to stop here as it was not a good experience, but it is one of the few stops with tesla charging stations. read more

The only thing keeping this location from 5 stars is organization (or perhaps staffing).. Stopped here driving home from Phoenix before the gas price leap on "the other side" in CA. The pumps were not crazy busy and easy to pull up, fill up with travel trailer in tow, get the discount from the app and have a receipt printed. Restrooms were clean, as well as the store. Lines were about 1-2 ppl ahead for pizza, other food and the attached fast food. It was 12:54 PM so granted, probably a busy lunch time too.. but dang, it took almost 45 min to get one pepperoni pizza. Great price at 14.99, but that's the wait time AFTER ordering and only second in line anyhow. Had to wait for someone to show up to take orders. The pizza was good, the fast food was good.. just seemed pretty disorganized inside with employees. That said, will give them the benefit maybe someone didn't show up for work that day or something as everything else was clean and well maintained. Loved the clean, outdoor seating area too.. great for our pups until some clueless dog owner thought her hyperactive little rat dog would want to say "hello" after my dog gave a warning bark she was too close.. She proceeded to guide her little dog over to my 2 big shepherd dogs and talk baby talk to it. I asked her not to approach, she did, and both of mine flew off the handle. My food blew alway in the wind thanks to her while waiting for my kids inside waiting on pizza. *SMH* Clueless ppl in all places. So, I never got to eat my food.. but the cheesy fries were good LOL... the dog lady doesn't play into my star rating, but just know when all the tables outside are open and you all have dogs, pick one on the other side and don't encourage your pup to interact with 2 that clearly don't want to, nor an owner saying "Do not approach my dogs!" DRIVERS BEWARE! Cheap gas, but be wary of their card readers at the pump: (1) it never prints a receipt; (2) it submits two charges to your credit card: the actual gas price you pumped and a second ridiculous amount (see attached pic on SMS alert I got from my card company); (3) when you go inside to cash register to ask for receipt, they can't find the actual charged amount and delays printing one as requested. I had to insist and not leave from them to print the receipt. I need proof so if both pending transactions shoe up, I can dispute. Why this gas station is getting away with withholding transaction receipt is beyond me. it should be illegal. read more

But there were some creepy characters out front that made us hesitant to leave our car full of stuff on a road trip. One of us stayed with the car while we took turns in the bathroom. After getting gas, I had to go into the store to get the receipt, as the paper was out on the gas pump. There was a long line and all I wanted was the receipt for pump number 10. The cashier told me I would have to wait in that line. It was not proper for me to have to wait in that long line as it was no fault of mine that the gas pump was out of paper. In relating this to the cashier, she repeated that I would have .to wait in the line; no apology or explanation, nothing . I felt that to be a punishment or something that I did not do. It was very rude of her. It would have been so easy and quick for her to rip off the receipt and hand it to me, which is what she did when it was my "turn." This gas station does NOT care about its customers. I would get gas far before this Stateline Flying J gas station. read more

Flying J is a nationally known fueling stop catering to long haul truckers. Their business model has changed over the last forty years, to include families looking to stretch their legs. Many of their newer locations now incorporate some sort fast food option, either attached or inside the travel centers itself. This location has a Wendy's attached and a Cinnabon inside to the left as you enter. For me, I've always found their gift shop to be fascinating. It's like old style convenience store, that stock's everything you ever thought of, including audio cassettes, air fresheners, Bibles, and showers for the truckers. The only downside are the bathrooms which need better attention and more frequent cleaning. read more

I was able to stop by here on way to Phoenix and on the way back home. Love going to this place! The young, thin cashier gal was very helpful. I was glad to use my 10 cent per gallon discount here. Since this place is in AZ, the gas was $4.05 down to $3.95! This store is really big, has alot of gas pumps, and sells many items. Restrooms always really clean! I had a deal bogo Pepsi on way to Phoenix and on way back I had buy a big dog for $5.99 get a Pepsi free. I guess this was Pepsi day for me. I also got a free 2nd snack which was the lightly salted cashews as part of a challenge of two 5 gallon fill ups. I also got a slice of their pizza which is super duper yummy! I was hungry on way back home because I had to fast on way there. I saved the Big Dog for my daughter and Ms for when I got back into town on her lunch break! As of right now I'm currently operating my small business I'm an owner operator trucking company. For all the people that don't know about this business is a lot of work, sleepless nights, time away from home and lots of money to spent in operations one of them of course diesel. Flying j is always been one of my favorite truck stops until today that is. I never ever take the time to do reviews but the way I was treated deserves a review to spread awareness to the general managers of this location. Well I basically spend like 60,000 in diesel easy a year plus things I buy in the store you will think or expect a loving treatment like loves or TA travel stop but no here I was seating in the game room ; which apparent they were using as storage as well charging my phone an a female manager with the name tag CONNIE came screaming at me that I can't sit there ( is 5am you know how sensitive your ears are at that time ) so I said ok you don't have to scream at me with an attitude like your angry at me and than on top of the fact that she is treating me like a piece of garbage she tells me I can ask you to leave if I want. Clearly what we have here is a power trip perform by the most nasty person and unprofessional manager I ever experience. We small business owners, company drivers work our ass of and spend millions of dollars in these stops I think the least coorparate can do is instruct flying J managers and workers to treat people with respect I'm very angry as I'm writing this; You know all the emotional stress we have to put up with on the road to come to a place we called a home far away from home and then be treated like a piece of garbage shame on you. You see treatment is a priority and when practice right it always trickles down all the way to the bottom so the general or regional manager is doing a horrible job training their managers on how to treat their customers I hope this person gets fire because in the long run the store will avoid bigger problems in the future like legal problems and complaints. In summary the worst I have ever been treated in my life by a representative of flying j.
