Not only did we get the chance to meet and greet, but they even had a "Fun" free introduction day for kids. They did the office up in Dr. Seuss theme, with a free goodie bag (including a full Dr. Seuss book!), tour of the dental chair and tools, face painting, craft stations and much more. Although Springbank Dental is quite a bit of a drive out of my way, Dr. Szott and his staff make it worthwhile. I am actually wanting to transfer over myself from my close to home dentist. However, when the Dentist came in to let me know I had SEVEN cavities, I was completely taken aback. My last dental checkup was 6 months ago, and I only had a small cavity at that point. Once my appointment concluded I asked the receptionists to send me my X-rays. I then visited with my regular Dentist at Brisebois, and they said and I quote, "I don't know what that Dentist was looking at, but it couldn't have been from these scans". He assured me we would fill the one tooth that was bothering me non-invasively and sent me home. I find this urgency to tell people they have cavities and to get them filled when they are possibly non-existent is malpractice and unethical. I can only imagine how many people have come to this office and been completely lied to and scammed. Drilling into a tooth should be an absolute last resort, and the Dentist here should not be practicing if she is that money-hungry. I am appalled, to be honest. I wish that anyone who comes here goes to another office for a second opinion because I can assure you it will be a very different response. Find yourself a dentist who doesn't want to destroy your teeth, and cares about your health and long-term wellbeing

But the worst part is that the person who did their cleaning was so rough on their gums by their wisdom teeth that they have been in pain for a few days now and it's affecting their life quite a bit. I was hoping it was just sensitivity from the cleaning but it just seems to be getting worse days later. They had no pain in that area prior to this visit. But now they have no more coverage because of the excessive charge on the visit that caused them the pain. So I'm not too sure what they are going to do and it's concerning. From the moment I walked in, the front desk team was super friendly and helpful. They made check-in easy and answered all my questions about scheduling and costs without any confusion. It's always nice to walk into a place where the staff actually seems to care. They even submitted my portion to the insurance so I didn't have to deal with it and only paid my portion which is super helpful financially. The dental assistants were great too and they were super professional and reassuring. I was very nervous to get a root canal but they made sure I was comfortable the whole time, explained what was happening, and checked in with me throughout the procedure. It made a big difference in keeping me relaxed. Dr. Singh was fantastic. He explained everything clearly, took his time, and made sure I wasn't feeling any pain. You can tell he really knows what he's doing, and I appreciated how calm and professional he was throughout the whole process. Overall, I had a great experience at Signal Hill Dental Centre. No one wants to get a root canal, but if you have to, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend Dr. Singh and his team! Very professional, listens and has always the best solution or provide you with the best treatment option. I had a tooth that didn't look the greatest due to a root canal, etc., needed a special touch cosmetically etc. - Dr Vranjes and also my awesome hygienist Kylie recommended to see Dr. Montemayor. Kylie - dental hygienist with a passion and positive attitude, always with her big and beautiful smile. She is the best! I was a bit afraid and waited with my decision till yesterday and OMG, Dr Isela Montemayor accompanied by lovely Kris is an artist. Kris is an angel, can't say enough good words about this beautiful soul - thank you for being so special Kris. Dr. Isela did an amazing job, made my day. I can smile and talk to people without always thinking of that tooth that was discolored and sticking out. Thank you again to all of the staff for everything they do and how they do it! Going to the endodontist is never a fun experience because usually that means some sort of tooth…read moresurgery is involved...however, Dr. McKenzie and her entire staff make it such a pleasant and easy experience that I actually leave feeling better (not worse!) I had to go because I got a root canal done a few years back that was not done well and my tooth was killing me (a really bad sign for a tooth that is supposed to have no feeling..) Anyway, I was recommended to Dr. McKenzie's office to get this done. Her staff not only called the day after receiving the referral, they continued to follow up weeks later when I hadn't called back (an issue with my voice mail). The staff were prompt, courteous and just generally friendly about scheduling as well as payment (and paperwork). Dr. McKenzie herself is a great endodonist. She is clearly knowledgeable and loves her job. She took the time to explain the situation to me (without being pejorative) and answered all of my questions. She does her work quickly (and as painlessly as possible). My tooth already feels leagues better and I cannot thank her enough. The office has now moved to 815 17th Ave SW. Although it's expensive, you really get quality service and I know that this is one root canal that wont have to be re-done in a few years.
