Natalie, Stephanie, and the rest of Michael's team worked fast, kept me on track with regular follow-ups, and were always available to answer questions via email and phone. Highly recommend if you're looking for an estate planning firm that's responsive, organized, and genuinely helpful throughout.

I scanned through Yelp and discovered Blacksburg Law and found the reviews very encouraging, and appreciated how robust and informative the firm's website was. I submitted an inquiry via Yelp and we were off to the races! The entire process was excellent and seamless, from first contact to final delivery of my estate plan. The team was incredible - professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. I greatly appreciated the team's use of technology -- from the intake questionnaire, Zoom meetings, client workspace portal, and remote notary. These tools made the entire process frictionless and allowed me to complete my "homework" even while traveling. I highly recommend Blacksburg Law for either creating your first estate plan or updating one that is overdue for a revision. Thank you Michael and Team!

From the very beginning, they were professional, caring, and incredibly communicative. They took the time to walk me through every step of the process and explained complex legal terms in plain English, so I always knew what was happening. What stood out most was how empowering they were -- they never pressured me into decisions, but instead gave me the knowledge and confidence to make my own choices. They handled my case efficiently and helped me achieve a great result in a surprisingly short time. Even as part of the settlement process, they went the extra mile by negotiating firmly with my health insurance company, which had tried to claim a portion of the recovery. Thanks to their skillful negotiation, I was able to keep more of my settlement than I expected. Their dedication and attention to detail truly made a difference. I can't recommend Rebecca and Amber highly enough -- they combine deep expertise with genuine compassion. If you're looking for lawyers who truly care and deliver results, this is the team you want in your corner!

As someone who has hired him and frequently referred others to him in the past, I turned to Andrew during a recent severe housing and health crisis. Due to my complete panic, he immediately stepped in to strategically guide me from behind the scenes. When our landlords threatened an illegal constructive eviction, Andrew drafted the precise script required to hold our legal counsel accountable and demand a reservation of rights letter. Furthermore, he devised a brilliant plan that allowed us to move safely while retaining physical control of our lease and keys--a crucial detail other lawyers overlooked. Anticipating how the situation would unfold before a judge, Andrew's foresight was entirely accurate. His guidance ultimately led to the landlords being caught red-handed in an illegal physical lockout documented by the police, significantly strengthening our position in settlement negotiations. With Andrew Cantor on your side, you gain a brilliant legal mind, exceptional instincts, and a calm, protective shield during a crisis. He is not only a wonderful attorney but an even better person!

Long story short - got the temporary restraining order back in December 2024, wonderful choice of direction some people choose to solve business disputes. I looked around and picked Andrew as my counsel. Nice and friendly interview, practicing family/civil law, plus more than a hundred 5-star reviews (for an attorney) -- what else do you need, right? Besides, having backups of texts, emails, paperwork going back for more than three years and reading through utterly ridiculous affidavit filed against me, I haven't had a single worry on my mind. Until the final hearing 15 months later. and... The most disappointing, hurtful, and insufferable element in the outcome of this case is not the adjudication but rather - Andrew's covert yet egregious abuse of my trust - "I really want you win. I'm doing my best to make it happen. I know you are the good guy here" yadayadayada. - his persistent lying and gaslighting about pretty much everything case-related. "Did you read my email? - Yes, sure! - Ok, which point do you prefer? - Oh, I don't know yet, I'll read it again later". Of course he didn't read it because Mailtrack (the email tracking addon which shows whether an you sent got read or an attachment got opened, etc) I finally installed in Gmail just to see what's going on, it showed "not read yet" - he would open an email in question five to ten minutes after a nudge yet pay no attention to the attachments as if the evidence documents attached were the least of your concern (that turned to be the case after all). - his flagrant lack of even a modicum of professional integrity - he didn't pay attention to anything happening with my case, facing a rather aggressive counsel on the opposite side who's been bombarding me with the delays, contempts, motions this and motions that - he just attended hearings and gaslighted me about "there's nothing we can do here" - he constantly failed to even let me know about the new court documents filed by the opposing party - I had to set a reminder/alarm for myself to check the case log via court's website on a daily basis just to make sure I won't miss the new filings. - he picked twelve pieces of evidence (primarily business convos related) out of more than 70 available (one-on-one communications disproving each allegation one after another), told me I don't need witnesses, disregarded testimonies of witnesses on the opposite side, yeah.... - his lack of responsibility and preparedness illustrated by "I have no idea what's going on here" conduct in the courtroom where the commissioner felt compelled to raise a few objections herself to stop opposing counsel's inappropriate line of questioning. He was peacefully staring at the ceiling meanwhile. - his lack of self-reflection in regard to his mistakes or mostly shortcomings - he prefers to blame it all on everybody else around: petitioner, opposing counsel, judge, weather, and me of course (apparently I was too nervous and yet he had full list of my medical conditions and medications but didn't bother informing the commissioner about it). - his "it's your problem" attitude which became clearly evident when you failed to mumble out a single word to explain the reasoning for my remote participation (which has angered the judge beyond belief) at first evidentiary hearing, My mother had a stroke two days prior and after spending ~ 40 sleepless hours sitting in some waiting room at the CPMC Van Ness while she's been going through three separate cranial/brain surgeries. I kept him aware of each and every development, even the minor ones, sent him doctors' correspondence to show to the judge - he didn't bother until the hearing started and judge began yelling. - his complete obliviousness to opposing counsel's conduct and her complete disregard to attorney's candor rules. He hasn't even bothered to react to her literally screaming some despicable bs at the judge like "respondent's lying! He's not at any hospital! I know it because his car didn't leave the driveway in the last five days". Well, my car hasn't left the driveway for more than seven months - the battery's been dead ever since but.... rejoice! There's Uber and I did send even the freaking trips receipts. Nah, he didn't even bother to raise the question the source of info re: where my car is (not geoloc for sure, battery's _dead_ dead) - his unprofessional, childish tantrums where he would let himself to literally yell at me or ask me questions like "are you bipolar or is it OCD?" - and so on. To sum it up - if you are determined to snatch a life-destroying defeat from the jaws of victory (for the lack of better words) and pay a ton of $$$ for it, then Andrew is your top choice.

From that first conversation, Adam was steady, sharp, and reassuring, and he has been ever since. If you're looking for a family law attorney in San Francisco, he's the call to make. What stands out most is his integrity. Adam tells you the truth and gives you advice you can actually trust. He leaves you feeling looked after rather than worked over. He also knows this world cold. He's seasoned and genuinely fluent in the local courts, the process, and the people in it, and it shows. Even when the other side gets aggressive, Adam stays calm and clear-eyed, translating all the legalese into plain, practical guidance you can act on. He's responsive, reachable, and steady exactly when you need someone steady, which, in a divorce, is roughly always. Just as important, he's consistent. His guidance never wavered, and he followed through, start to finish. He treats clients like people, not case numbers, or billable hours, and he clearly cares about how things turn out. I always trusted that his advice was in my genuine interest. I can't recommend Adam highly enough. If you want someone exceptionally competent, ethical, reasonable, and genuinely on your side, call him. Preferably or hopefully not on Valentine's Day.
