I called about 3 weeks in advance to book a private party in their small room. There were 12 of us (7 adults and 5 children). When I called to book I spoke with Anna who was super helpful in answering all of my questions. She was also our guide the day of the party. We were able to bring in our own food and drinks for the party. I will note that the party room does not have a ton of extra space if you have a larger party. There is a counter that can be used. Once our whole party arrived Anna gave instructions on what price point to stay within (pre arranged) and sent us off on our own to choose which ceramic we wanted. Then she instructed us to pick which colors we would like. You start with 4 and can add more as needed. Then we got to work. Our whole group was engaged in their project. We laughed and had a wonderful time. Once we were finished she collected our ceramics to store until they were put in the Kiln. The wait time was about 2 weeks. There is everything from scrapbooking, jewelry making, floral design, fabrics galore and sewing, lot's of yarn and all kinds of needle craft, kitchen ware and baking to cake decorating! There are tons of beautiful home decor and many picture frames! Doll houses, model kits, clay molding and sculpting, wood crafts, leather crafts, doll making, tools for all of these thing's. Hobbies and all sorts of collecting for kids and adults, arts & crafts, games and toys, party supplies and so much more! If you are looking and unsure where to start Hobby Lobby will not disappoint. I said yes and was told I needed to leave my purse ...... it really does look like a backpack! In a locker provided up front....... my purse/backpack is camel leather color and expensive, very expensive! Please tell me there are stores that do that???? In my life I have never entered one! I was both embarrassed and upset at the same time. I did not have on my jewelry on or even nice clothes but, I was clean, presentable and expectable and kind and friendly....... Make no mistake about it these are NOT your typical craft store beads! These are specialty beads. Some are even high end or special made by well known crafters. The quality of the higher end beads are amazing. Especially the ones that are made by hand - one by one. The skill needed to accomplish this is amazing! Classes! Grab a calendar in their store and take a look at all the classes they offer. They held 20 classes in January so I'm sure there's something that will pique your interest. The store is spacious - actually huge. The walls and tables are all filled with beads. The merchandising is done fabulously. Every table has a different bead theme to entice you. Employees are helpful when they are available. When I was there I walked around for 20 minutes and no one acknowledged me3. But if you come here often enough you know there are certain items that are here to stay. For me it's certain pet items as well as ethnic foods.
