We went during flower season, and it was beautiful! I had never seen such a vast lavender farm before! The lavenders were as fas as the eyes can see, towards the horizon. They also had a cafe which served foods for a full meal. You must get an ice cream cone! AUD $20/per person read more

If you sight the lavender in full bloom then you're in luck. As fortunes have it we were entranced by their beauty and the vastness of the farmyard. The $20 entry free for the car may seem steep so definitely consider this before you commit to the drive. We bumped into fellow travellers whom reported that there were long queues just to enter the estate so be prepared to wait. As a tip we arrived towards the end of the day, around 3pm; listened to the tour (every 10mins); and roamed around polishing the visit with a lavender ice cream. If lavenders are your thing then certainly stop by this place and take a photo amongst the glorious purple fields. Note: call ahead as the blooming season is notoriously short. It's around mid-January. read more
It sucks to pay $10/pax for an entry fees during blooming season, but i guess it makes sense from a business perspective. We came here on the third week of December and the lavender flowers were blooming, and what a beautiful sight ! The moment you get off from your car, you can hear a constant , low buzzing sound (from the bees). You are free to walk around this huge estate and take as many photos as you want. There are 10 mins tour every hour (9.30am ..10.30am etc). Tours are offered in both chinese and english. When we went for the 9.30am tour, there were so many people at the chinese tour, and just me and my boyfriend for the english tour. The gift shop has a wide range of products - from relish to soaps to various beauty products. A great place to shop for gifts. The cafe/ restaurant also offers a lot of food products associated with lavender. Cant say if they are any good as I've only tried the lavender ice cream, which is quite interesting. I would recommend this place if you have spare time to spend in Launceston! read more

It is winter, raining and the lavender is dormant but a very beautiful farm! The gift shop is fine and the heater was warm. Nothing else to see though. Far drive. The lavender and blueberry pancakes were really nice and the service was friendly. All with the light taste of lavender which was great! The toasted sandwich was average and small. read more
