I was constantly worried of more teeth falling out and me being literally a toothless smile. I went to see Raj Mistry who immediately made meek feel calm - he talked me through everything and gave me confidence to trust him. I had all the teeth removed and a new top and bottom denture made and put in immediately after my teeth were removed. I had IV sedation I felt nothing and remember nothing though I was awake during the whole procedure. My new denture is superb - it looks real and not false - I have my smile and I could not be happier - I wish I had met Raj sooner. I know there must be lots of people like me worrying about needing dentistry - I wish I had met Raj sooner because I perhaps would have kept my own teeth longer - however my new denture is perhaps visually as good as it gets - thank you Dencare 1 smile you are amazing xxx

A few months ago I had a second bridge crown fitted because of a terrible accident last year left me devastated - a bad fall that took all of a previous perfect bridge crown Geoff did for me was ruined! The fall meant that another bridge would have to be restructured differently because of damage to my other teeth. I never thought it would be possible to get the result I have today, thank you thank you Geoff. All through the treatment I never felt any pain or discomfort, he is such a brilliant dentist in fact all of his team and all the staff are lovely, they not only treat you with the greatest respect, they are so attentive and make you feel important and comfortable, they actually explain and talk you through the 'action plan' .... I don't normally do reviews (though I read them) but I feel so lucky to have found such a good dentist which I thoroughly recommend. I have Denplan Insurance cover which helped with my second bridge. I was seen by Mr Veer and his assistant for a check up last week and can can honestly say they treated very well, dealt with my nervous disposition excellently - even my gagging at the mouth xray!. I am sat here with a numb mouth having just had my first ever filling - which I had been dreading - and again the team there were friendly, and treated me really well in carrying out the flling and making sure I was ok after. Since I've used the Equality Act 2010 against this practice my treatment has got worse…read more Their staff do not know how to treat people with disabilitys like myself. Today I tried using the Equality Act 2010 again and reasonable ajustments. And the receptionist kept talking over me deliberitly not wanting to let me use it for my health to help. So then they kept hanging the phone up, which never helped my condition so I kept phoning back. And even without answering cutting me off. I paid a lot of money to join this practice which they asked for and now they are not even answering the phone they blocked me. I'm my opnion they clearly have issues with people such as me with disabilitys. And use a protected act and you get worse treatment. I recorded the call today but also asked for their recordings under a subject access request under GDPR legislation which is free they have to give you it. Things got so bad today they made a threat against me for phoning up when they kept hanging up. So I contacted the Police for and was given a log number for any futher incidences. One manager stated to me about my treatment from the dentist. If you want to complain about treatment complain to him. I allready advised them the dentist scares me do to certain actions. So asked for ajustment for me not to deal with him directly and they ignored this as well. They tried to say he is inderpendent from them. But the fact is they have a duty of care. And they have what is legally known as a NON DELEGABLE DUTY" The amounts of money from what they state has gone right up over £1000 for me. Not the prices on their web page. You see the real side of these when you start to complain they are not so friendly then. And I am classed as disabilied.

Because I've seen signs being advertised across the Great Barr area, and I really needed a good dental surgery. I don't like dentists and I don't think many people do. So, when it came to the time when I knew I had to go, I had to make sure the surgery would be a great one. I'd heard so many good things about this surgery, so that's what convinced me to go with them. Once I registered with them, I received an exceptional service. Especially from the dentist that dealt with my dental treatment. It's great to know we have such brilliant dentists like this around which you can register with even if you don't live in that area.
