However, while I don't LIKE going to the dentist, these guys are very good. Professional, friendly people, great dentists - and (most importantly) pretty much pain free! Indeed having root canal and falling asleep during the process is surely a wonderful outcome and a great compliment to the dentists work and customer care. I have had a LOT of dental work over the years but my experiences and results at Bridge Dental make me rate them highest of all. Two molars up - oops I mean two thumbs up!!

I was prompted to go because of some pain that told me something really bad could be coming. The office itself is rather like a sprawling modern house. I think that there are as many as 8 dentists practicing there (see pic), but I only met one, Jag, who was amazing. As it turns out I had actual 'procedure' today - just exploration and X-rays. Trust me I have many probing dentists elsewhere (in the US mainly) and pain always follows but Jag was SUPER cautious and all was without any screeches from me. We determined that everything was structurally sound and the pain was either sinus related or a nerve playing up under an existing crown. For today we left it at that, take an anti-biotic for a week and then re-examine - most likely to the endodontist for me to drill through the crown and do a root canal (hopefully painless!) and save the cost and hassle of having new crown made. 5 stars so far!! After having terrible trouble with an infection in one of my teeth, and having nearly as much…read moretrouble with my NHS dentist, a very kind woman told me about Dr A vahdaty. I was originally due to have a tooth out (one of my large molars) as a half hearted (and what I believe) not done properly root canal treatment didn't work with my NHS dentist. While I was at the hospital, due to have the tooth out, a kind young woman said that really I shouldn't have to have it out, but that the NHS are not funded for a second root canal. Giving me Vahdaty's number I called. I had a consultation and 3 subsequent treatments while they cleaned the tooth out and got rid of the infection. Everything was very pleasant, clean and professional. This was over a year ago, and although there is no guarantee for people undertaking root canals, my treatment was successful. This dentist only does root canal treatments. The reason I give her a four is because of the price.. It cost £600 all in all, but if you have the money, don't listen to the NHS. She doesn't have credit card facilities either but you can pay for the treatment in installments.

The day after the treatment I had a feeling of dizziness, jaw ache and excruciating pain down my face. I had to go to hospital and was told it was as though I had experienced a head injury. I rang vahdarty, but no help was given. I think it was the clamp which is used while the procedure is carried out and it was a very rough procedure, my head was being pulled up and down in the clamp. Several trips to hospital and to a cranial specialist had to be undertaken and a year on I still get an aching jaw. I have also spoken to other people who have used this Endodontist and they too felt the procedure was very rough and left them in pain. I'm sure some people would have had a good experience of this practice, but it was unfortunate not enough time was taken and there was no aftercare for me, but i had to rely on hospital for support. I paid alot of money for 6 months of hell and wish I had never gone to this practice.

But when the pain in my molars got unbearable I had to book an appointment. I thought I'd try out this one because it's so close to home. It's a clean, professional practice. I couldn't help but notice how attractive the female staff were, who all seemed incredibly glamourous. I was seen by Dr Johal. He seemed to be more engaged in banter with his assistant than paying much attention to the patient in the chair - me! I went in complaining about pain in one tooth, I was told I need a filling in four teeth in all four corners of my mouth! It was ever so pricey so I settled for just the one filling, which he offered immediately. The pain reduced significantly but still shocks me from time to time.

I used to be a huge fan of this Dental Center when I lived in the UK and had a lot of work done as a private patient, meaning cash out my pocket as was not an NHS patient. Staff were always friendly, dentists and hygienist were great! Had to have a root canal. However, I have now gone to my American dentist who has said that the root canal never went the full length of the root which is now causing problems and needs redoing. In addition the amalgam used to fill was left jagged in between the teeth which is causing problems. It will now cost me just a little under 6k to have these amateur mistakes fixed. On top of it when I request to have my x-Rays and records forwarded on to my home dentist they want to charge me. Just really appalled and disappointed at the whole thing. Will be making a formal complaint, contacting the regulating body and ombudsman and possibly getting my solicitor involved. I feel they should entirely reimburse me for the mistakes!

I was seen by Mr Veer and his assistant for a check up last week and can can honestly say they treated very well, dealt with my nervous disposition excellently - even my gagging at the mouth xray!. I am sat here with a numb mouth having just had my first ever filling - which I had been dreading - and again the team there were friendly, and treated me really well in carrying out the flling and making sure I was ok after.
