I struggled with significant debilitating health issues (autoimmune and gut issues) that were not helped with my regular provider. I have healed so much with much more energy and vitality after following the recommendations of all my providers at this business! Staff is friendly and all communications have had quick and thorough responses. I will absolutely continue my care with this practice!

She was actually downright condescending and rude. We let that go in hopes that other things went well. I believe they booked extra appointments for us to get money. First appointment they took blood, and second was the follow up to that - So, both made sense. However, this last $90 visit was a joke. We only saw the RN (who is super sweet, but lacked specific knowledge about somethings, or maybe confidence) and suggested things that did not make sense for the specific diet the blood test results suggested. I spent $90 and it was a complete waste of time and the visit did not need to have taken place. We should have been given the information combined with the two prior visits. I feel frustrated and taken advantage of. Two stars only because the RN is sweet - otherwise, one star is more than I wish to give.

I joined last evening for a sound bath experience and truly feel like I'm floating on clouds today…read more The space has a wonderful energy the moment you walk in. Rachel's instruments are beautifully arranged, and there are comfortable cushions set up for the experience so you can fully relax. You can feel the care and intention that's gone into every detail of this healing center. Jason does a great job welcoming guests upon arrival and making sure you know where everything is. From start to finish, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely taken care of. Rachel, the sound healer, offered a thoughtful overview of what to expect and then invited everyone to share their intentions. It was so special to witness how open and vulnerable people felt about what they're moving through. I absolutely loved the sense of community that was created in the room. The actual experience itself was pretty incredible for me. I brought a blanket, bolster, and they provided an eye mask and another blanket, so I could fully journey inward. During the sound bath, I found myself revisiting a past version of me, crying on a beach, and gently reminding myself, this too shall pass. Not long after, I felt a heaviness lift from my chest as one of Rachel's beautiful instruments moved over my body. The skill, presence, and awareness she brings to working with these healing frequencies is truly remarkable. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply grateful for the experience. I'll definitely be back for more sound baths and am excited to explore some of the other healing modalities they offer as well. Oh, and I had the most incredible night sleep last night. So stoked to have a place like this so close to home :)

I have sent several people over to Brave Embodiment because I trust the interactions and support there are compassionate, dedicated, and above all else, ethically sound in practice. Therapy very much varies from individual to individual, just as every therapist varies in their background, skills, and expertise. While not every therapist-client relationship is meant to be or should be, I know Brave Embodiment Counseling will support clients in the direction they would be best supported - be it within their organization or another organization better suited to help a client. If you're looking for a team that combines skill, compassion, and integrity, Brave Counseling is the place to go. I can't recommend them enough!

Rather than deal with an influx of negative feedback from me and other women, Kim Massale of Brave…read moreEmbodiment Counseling removed her business from Google listings. And with it? All the negative reviews. It's pretty hypocritical for someone to claim to empower women but then actively harm and silence them. Anyhow, here is my original review: My therapist, Lindsay Fahey, terminated me after I expressed a minor concern about her behavior, citing transference. This exacerbated my trauma surrounding being abandoned and punished for advocating for myself. Her actions after I brought up the initial concern were hurtful, inappropriate, and unethical. For instance: * dismissing and insulting my trauma and concerns by calling it "baggage" * making an inappropriate comment about being in a romantic relationship with me * acting as if she knew me better than I know myself, like when I said I was scared but she decided I was actually angry * calling my natural hair "disheveled" * retaliating against me because she assumed a comment I made about a personal loss over the weekend was about her * violating my privacy when she pretended to still be my therapist (after she had terminated me) so she could get my protected healthcare information from my other healthcare provider * falsifying my medical records to say that I had terminated the relationship once she found out I had filed a complaint with DORA due to the privacy violation All of this caused me significant distress, set back my therapeutic process, and compounded the trauma she was supposed to be helping with. And my response to her reply: I believe that someone who acts unethically and inappropriately isn't a good fit for anyone, Kim. But it's clearly a modus operandi for you. As you well know--and as I know from reading Lindsay's notes--Lindsay met with you about terminating me before ever meeting with me about my concern. She never intended to resolve any issues. She made that undoubtedly clear when I asked her why we couldn't work through this and she said, "I've tried to work through client concerns many times before, and it never gets better."
