Then on the closing documents, I inquired about the number used for property taxes and they insured me it was correct...well I get my bill and guess what- not correct! Then begins the month long process of getting the correct amount back. When I initially called, my agent- Cindy Gant- was rude and played dumb. I'm not stupid- I know the seller provides documentation regarding the tax status and you failed to do your job correctly. Only after my realtor contacted them did they bother to fix their mistake. In the end I got the difference from the seller but still ended up paying more than what I was told at closing. You have a choice in title companies when you close- don't make the mistake I did and go with my realtors recommendation...
