Trash from this school is all along the metal fence. Trash from the school blows into the public park and local homes

We currently have two boys at Legacy who recently completed Kindergarten and 2nd grade, and our…read moreexperience has been exceptional. The teachers' compassion, dedication, and individualized care for each student are truly unmatched. Combined with the school's strong academic program, they create an environment where children are encouraged to reach their full potential. The high expectations set by the teachers are matched by the students' ability to rise to the challenge, thanks to the encouragement and support they receive every day. Weekly chapel is another highlight, giving our entire family the opportunity to come together and feel connected to the school community. We've also loved our experience with the lower school sports programs, where the coaches are committed, caring, and focused on developing both character and athletic skills. While the high school athletic program is still growing, it's clear that the administration is deeply invested in expanding and strengthening it, and we're excited to see its continued development. We are grateful to be part of the Legacy community and highly recommend it to families looking for a school that combines academic excellence, strong Christian values, and a genuinely caring environment.

We love Legacy! My son is going into 3rd grade and has been here since kindergarten. He absolutely…read moreloves going school! He's thriving and getting great grades all thanks to the amazing teachers. I love that they have enrichment classes starting in kinder. He says it makes his day so much more fun getting to rotate and learn about Computers, Art, Science, Library, Bible, and Spanish. In second grade he was at a 6th grade 6 month reading level which blew me away! As parents we also love that we get to be involved so much, from volunteering in class, to being included in Friday Chapel, to helping with field trips and holiday activities, it's all amazing. The second you walk in to Legacy it feels like home, everyone is so welcoming and kind. We can't wait for more years to come.

SCVi saved my son's school career. This is a truly remarkable place, where the instructors WANT to…read morebe there and the kids come first - not faculty. Students and their families are treated with respect and kindness and, above all, with trust. Such a refreshing, reaffirming environment that allows young people to develop and thrive - not crush their natural curiosity and imagination with relentless messages on conformity. And, amazingly, this public charter school with an incredible curriculum is free! Transferring from a nightmare experience in 7th grade at Rio Norte - where everything is structured to the teacher's benefit, the volume of 'busy work' worksheets assigned daily is mind-numbing, and the default attitude is one of distrust - to the amazing project-based learning and integrated curriculum of SCVi was truly the answer to my prayers for my thoughtful, intelligent son. He had left elementary school as a confident, straight A student who benefited from the school's GATE program for 3 years, but after 1 year at Rio Norte Jr High, being brow-beaten and told by his teachers he was just lazy and not as smart as he thought, his spirit was crushed and he had become hopeless about school. SCVi turned all that around. The transition was a little rocky for him, as he was leaving his friends behind, but the staff and fellow students at SCVi worked hard at making him feel welcome and his contributions were once again valued. By the end of 8th grade, his confidence had returned, as well as his grades, and he'd even stepped into a leadership role in the epic Civil War Re-Enactment capstone project that is a tradition at SCVi. Without SCVi, the path for my gifted 13 year old son could have turned out very badly indeed. He's continued to develop and thrive there through high school, benefited from IB classes and theater, and will graduate next month as a poised, confident young man with broad knowledge and critical life skills. What parent could ask for more for their child? From the bottom of my heart, thank you SCVi!

Horrible school if you want to learn and socialize. Most people already have friend groups, and…read moredon't socialize with new students. Also, the school has a major bullying problem that they have covered up for a while now and only did the bare minimum if pushed to do. If you are not in the main popular friend group, you most likely cant talk to anyone. You'll also most likely be bullied if you don't like whatever the popular kids like, and people always beat each other up, and they do the most minimal punishments. I heard someone who caused a ton of people to bully someone else only got 1 day of ISS for doing that. So yea, i totally recommend not going here
