Just as we were preparing to leave the owner came and told us we could not leave the van there, he didn't want us using one of his parking spaces. There were 15-20 open spots and the same when we returned. Admittedly he does not have to allow us to park there, but you would think for a place that charges $6.99 a gallon for gas and depends on tourists for the business they would be a little more friendly. We stopped by after 4th of July weekend so a lot of their merchandise was sold out. Not a lot of options of soda, cookies, candies or even topping for our sandwiches, but all good. We opted out for a turkey sandwich and a pastrami sandwich. We also got a couple cans of Arizona. The staff was nice and attentive. Our sandwiches were actually really good. We drove around the loop and had lunch at Silver Lake.
