This place appears to have been converted from some chain restaurant that was connected to the hotel. In other words, not a lot of ambiance or character. Our server seemed to fit the ambiance, efficient, but not very personable. The food matched as well. The panini press was down when we were here, so I had a California chicken sandwich. Not sure what made it "California", since it was served on a baguette and didn't include anything special (no avocado). Overall, you can get a decent meal here, but don't expect too much. read more

The service was really good and friendly. I had the turkey wrap but I did not like it too much. The tortilla was a little too stiff. The appetizers were much better. The salad was iceberg lettuce so just know that the garden salad doesn't have dark greens. They have a popcorn machine so that was cool to have serve your self snacks. read more

We were excited to find this place on Apple Maps just across the street from the Grandstay Hotel we had just checked in to. it's so nice not to have to drive somewhere to eat after being in the car all day! The sign said to SEAT YOURSELVES so we picked a booth. Menus were already at the table so we could make our choices while waiting for our waiter. He was great! He took our food and beverage orders at the same time. It was very busy but the waiter didn't act rushed or annoyed. Our food didn't take long. My Chicken Caesar Wrap was delicious with curly fries, which I seldom find on menus. I asked for extra ranch dressing and he brought it immediately. My husband had Chicken Tenders with onion rings and was very pleased! I would definitely eat here again. lots of TVs were going with different sports on each. read more

The staff here are very kind! They aren't in a rush to get to the next table but somehow you never feel like they are leaving you waiting. I visit Valley City more than the average bear, and I've been to Bridges a few times and will go again. I like the burgers best! Small restaurant with some good and some ok food. Server was Brittany and she was great, friendly, helpful and quick. Food my husband got the Italian panini and loved it, had a slab of salmi about half an inch thick and loved it. Kids got the chicken and grilled cheese. Typical kids fare but they have healthy options so that's a win. I asked our server if the fish sandwich was good and she responded she never tasted it. My mistake for pushing through. It was commercially breaded, over cooked with brown shredded lettuce. The tortilla soup was enough for a meal on its own and good. We were passing through on our way to NW Montana and it was a good stop. What a great place to eat! We stopped here on our way out to Glacier NP and I did my research before we chose this restaurant. Our family of four really enjoyed their meals - my kids got the chicken parm sandwich and they liked it - which is saying a lot as we are from Brooklyn and used to very authentic Italian food. While it wasn't a traditional chicken parm (it had pepperoni), the sauce was tasty and they both said it was good. My husband had the Cuban and it was very good. I had the Reuben with grilled chicken on a GF bun. They have, hands down, THE BEST GF buns I have ever tasted! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is either traveling through or who lives here locally. Great service - super friendly and the food came out in a timely fashion on a packed night. It was OK. Atmosphere was hip sports bar and seating area was rather small. My wife and I split the Walleye sandwich special and my daughter had one of the burgers. Service was overall very good. Decided to grab some dinner here after seeing the good reviews, sadly disappointed, server was friendly but took our order and never came back, finally got our drinks and then waited another 3+. Minutes for 2 appetizers and a salad. It was not very busy. Our appetizers were all cold and soggy and we had to ask for the sauce that went with them, our salad was sub par and kind of swimming in water, after she brought all of our food at the same time she never came back, not even to refill drinks, until she brought the check and didn't offer anything else. We were pretty disappointed, maybe the burgers are better but I wouldn't go back. read more

First stop in Valley City was to Bridges Bar & Grill for lunch. The staff was friendly, the food was amazing and well priced.

This was a great find along I 94. Very clean, great service and the burgers are wonderful with that char-grilled taste!

Great place to eat, sit and visit with family and friends. The burgers are big and juicy, the onion rings are crispy and the specials are daily! Sometimes you have to wait for a seat, both at lunch and dinner, but that just shows it's a great place to eat if all the seats are full! read more
