I've read a lot of reviews that said that they didn't meet the doctor until the day of surgery, I did. Dr. Gutierrez was really helpful in clearing up any misunderstandings and my pre-op nurse was a sweetheart. The front desk wasn't that great, but I'm not a real whiner about things like that. I guess the deciding factor for my next review will be my experience on the day of the procedure. Right now it could go either way.

After my procedure he did provide his personal phone number and answered my calls and addressed my concerns. However, the follow up appointments have been disappointing. My face looked asymmertical and I had a big lump under my eye and on my eyebrow and a dent next to it. The first nurse didn't provide any insight and said the doctor had to see it. She didn't even check the incision on my stomach where the fat was harvested from and I had to take my stitch out myself. The second follow up was with a more knowledgeable nurse because I complained, she took photos of my areas of concern but also said the doctor had to see it. I never got any follow up from that appointment. Today I went in for my post op with the doctor and I ended up waiting an hour. I asked how long and they said they were running behind and didn't know. I left. Bottom line is, Dr Weiler was very available and accessible before my procedure but disappeared after leaving me to deal with some very nice nurses that wouldn't tell me much to help with my concerns. I'm two months after my procedure and my face is not even, my right cheek is higher than the left, and I have a lump and a dent over my right eye.

Not only were the Nurses and Staff so kind to my sister, but they were very kind to me as well and I appreciated that. My sister gets so very cold the nurses she had that day were great at keeping her wrapped in warm blankets. This may seem like a small thing but sometimes it is just the small things that can help make a procedure go better. The procedure itself only took less than an hour and so we were in and out. I think it took longer in recovery than it did to check in and have it done. In no way am I complaining, I think its great when things work that way. I think the General is laid out very well and the signage makes it easy to follow and get to where you need to be. There is a very nice coffee shop on the lower level, not too far from the waiting rooms.
