We were due to leave town the next day, so we needed to get into someone ASAP. I called around town. Unfortunately the pediatric dentist wasn't open and the first people to get an appointment for my son was Lapinski Dental. We saw Dr. Robert that morning. My son is special needs and has a lot of anxiety. He had a tooth infection and needed to be numbed. When my son saw that needle he became very scared and started to cry. That sent Dr. Robert into a tailspin and he began yelling at my son. He yelled "stop crying right now!" "You did this to yourself! I didn't do it! I should be the one crying!" He then threatened to make me leave the room if he didn't stop crying. I guess Dr. Robert thought that would work, but it only made my already terrified son cry harder. I felt awful for him. We felt thoroughly humiliated and I just wanted to apologize profusely to my son for making him see that man. The good news is that Dr. Robert did temporarily fix my son's tooth until we could get into the pediatric dentist for a permanent fix. It was just a really awful experience getting there.

The doctors were Indian American dentist from India I have had my share of racism in this country as a black female but this here was just so disgusting they had me wanting in the lobby for an hour and wouldnot call me or pay me any attention they just ignored me most of the time. They would call or pick Caucasians or Latinos or even there own Asian race. Please who ever reads this please don't go here if you are afican american black female or male. So I will boycott any and everything Indian American or anything coming or tied to india.

I can't begin to spell or pronounce the dentist's (Arabic?) name, but I got a thorough, gentle yearly cleaning by the hygienist. The dentist replaced lots of my failing buccal fillings (I have many, due to a lifetime of bruxism.) I had a square chip in my top front tooth, and he filled it unnoticeably. All of my other fillings also now match my natural tooth color, which the previous didn't do. I wouldn't necessarily travel from Jersey City to Raritan to see them again, but I was treated well and think they did a good job.
