Dr. Choi is the best orthodontist I have found. It's been a few years since my braces have been off, I continue to see Dr. Choi every six months, and, my teeth are as straight as ever. It's important to keep using the retainer at bedtime every night which I have done and am very pleased with the results. It's been a great experience and totally worth it. Below is my experience. I am very lucky to have found Dr. Choi. He's an excellent orthodontist and great human being. My teeth look amazingly straight now, and I'm very happy with the results. Before finding Dr. Choi, I consulted with 3 different orthodontists. Dr. Choi stood out from the rest with his listening, explanations, knowledge, expertise, treatment, clarity, understanding, friendliness and kindness. For the first time I did not feel judged for being an older person getting braces, instead he was very accepting and kind. I always felt better after talking to Dr. Choi with any concern I had about my teeth/braces. He always took the time to address my concerns and I appreciated his explanations, knowledge, consideration, and patience. I was 50 years old when I got braces at his office. My teeth were complicated and I needed to remove 2 molars because of problems with root canals. The gaps from the extracted molars on both sides needed to be closed and my teeth straightened. I was very relieved and pleased when Dr.Choi examined my teeth after the molars were extracted and said he could straighten my teeth without an anchoring apparatus on my palate. The other orthodontists were either going to put a TAD or another anchoring apparatus on my palate. I needed the strongest braces to straighten my teeth which were the metal braces. I enjoyed wearing metal braces with colorful elastics, and towards the end I liked purple because it faded to a paler shade of purple. I wore braces for 2 years. Dr. Choi adjusted my teeth with precision and expertise. I trusted Dr. Choi and followed what he said was important to do and to avoid for my teeth. The results are very beautiful straight teeth. I always was self conscious about how my two front teeth crossed, and with my wedding coming up I knew I wanted to be able to smile and not have to worry about how my teeth looked in my wedding pictures. I went in to speak with Dr. Choi about my concerns and from the start he was very honest with me about my choices. I did ask about Invisalign, and he told me honestly with the amount of time until my wedding, Invisalign was not going to get me the results I was looking for. His recommendation was metal braces for the top and bottom to get the best results.I really appreciated his honesty. I can honestly say it was the best choice I made! At the end of my treatment I couldn't be happier with my smile! I was able to enjoy my wedding without having to worry about if my smile was going to ruin my wedding pictures.
