From the start, Dr. Sarah was confident, calm, and reassuring. She took incredible time and care with my temporaries--they were secure, comfortable, and shaped beautifully, which immediately put me at ease. For the first time, I wasn't worried they would fall out. When it came time for the permanent veneers, we were unsure about the color at first, but Dr. Sarah said to try them in and reassured me we could redo them if needed. She was right--they were a perfect match. She even scheduled a follow-up to make sure I was completely happy. Dr. Sarah and her assistant were patient, meticulous, and truly passionate about their work. After years of stress over this process, I finally feel at ease knowing my smile is in expert hands, and I'm so grateful I found Brielle Dentistry.

I have been debating writing this review for quite a while, since Brielle Dentistry Co seems to…read moreonly get rave reviews here and people appear to have had good experiences with them, but please consider my personal experience with them a cautionary tale. I went there for an emergency root canal, which went well, although I had to wait in the chair doing nothing for 45 minutes, before they finally started working on me, consequently making me late for work. Everyone was very nice and apologetic, but that was a bad first impression for me. They pushed the comprehensive dental exam for a later date, which I did get. They found many many issues with my teeth and gums, which really surprised me, as I practice excellent oral hygiene every day. Long story short - I moved to another state not long after this and found a dentist here, who did the exact same exam - all the bite-wing and panoramic x-rays, photos, physical exam, etc., and found only a tiny fraction of what Brielle "found." For example - Brielle told me I needed to get 2 back teeth extracted. I knew of one tooth, given what was going on, but the other tooth they wanted to extract turned out to be perfectly healthy and fine, with absolutely no need to extract, per my current dentist. Brielle also pointed out other work I needed to get done - another example: deep scaling - while the dentist I go to now found no issues whatsoever with my gums. And there were others. The person who answered the phone was arrogant and refused to give me the number even though it is public information and any other time I have ever asked a doctor or dentist for the number I receive it immediately and with no questions asked. As a result I had to spend time online searching the National Provider Identifier Registry to look up their number. The staff here needs to be better informed about addressing simple requests like this and more courteous when speaking to patients.

I get completely overwhelmed and worried about my oral health, to which I'm told none of this can be fixed without extensive jaw surgery which Dr. Ally doesn't even recommend I do. What was the point of bombarding me with all of this terrible information?? Every time I've tried to ask questions about my jaw and treatment, she interrupts me and talks down to me. After that visit, they said I would continue to experience a lot of pain even after purchasing my day and night guards they made for me for $3000. They prescribed no treatment or medication for said pain I still have almost a year later from that initial May visit. I've since moved and had to give a new doctor my records. I even set up an appointment with another TMJ specialist. I requested 2 sets of dental records to Mary, who said that was fine and that she'd put that order in for me. After a week of no update from the office, I request again and again. They said no one in the office was available to make the imaging, then the machine was broken, and then they started ignoring my calls. Then, when I finally go in to pick up my 2 copies, Jeanine said I never requested 2 copies, only one. Despite Mary and Dr. Ally also being in the office, they did not relay that I had requested 2 copies MULTIPLE times. They say how "we never give patients 2 copies". After some back and forth, they start whispering, and then I'm being charged this fee of $35 for a second set of records. Why am I being charged for my own records? They lie and say I never asked for them, make me call in a bunch of times, hang up when I call them. The fact that you can't even leave a voicemail is incredibly telling. Not only is Mary incompetent at relaying information, but Jeanine is a liar and incredibly rude. It is clear that after I pay all my money, I'm no longer treated like a valued patient or even a valued customer, even though I still have all the issues I started with, except more financial burden from this dental office. P.S. This place has a completely separate name, website, and phone number, despite it being the same business: "Advanced Sleep & TMJ Center of New Jersey".

Dr.Maher Hannah was not there..but the "other" Dr.Hannah(no relation) was there. She started off a tad rough, but after explaining my situation she slowed down and there was no pain. I adore everyone in this office. Always so friendly and helpful! They work with my schedule (NURSES HOURS!)..they work..and fight my insurance for things(like a night guard!). My dentist retired so I decided to give Dr Hanna a try and am I glad I did! Not only is he kind and gentle but a highly skilled dentist! Now both my wife and I are Dr Hanna's patients. As seniors without dental insurance his "in house" plan offers some welcomed financial relief. I highly recommend Dr Hanna without hesitation!
