This will be my second year volunteering alongside some of the City of Morrisville committee members and leaders. I've enjoyed being able to show up and volunteer which allows me to learn from others, and give back to the community and the most rewarding is seeing the evolution of the community event I consistently volunteer to assist. Overall, Cedar Fork Community Center seems to be a great community center. The building is nicely maintained, clean, and comfortable. There are various after and before-school programs for children, and camps.

There was plenty of parking, I am not sure how it would be earlier during the day but it was great parking around the time that we went. As we were walking up there was a staff member there letting down the flag and she asked us how she could help us she was really nice. We noticed that they had an outdoor basketball court so we used them restroom and went straight there. The bathrooms were clean too. Which was great for small children who love to touch things. The park was really nice but we were only there for basketball court which was cool. One of the goals had a glass missing which was okay but for someone who likes to make all of their shots it was an inconvenience. But the park overall was clean and really nice. Overall it's one of the nice parks in Raleigh and we would love to go back.

The pools are indoor but they often have the roof partially open so there's shadier areas and other spots in direct sun. Always a lifeguard around and pretty relaxing for parents. The times are a bit limited but overall I've found sign up to be straight forward for the weekends and the play areas at least don't require sign up currently on the weekdays. The fitness classes tend to fill up fast, too, but is included and not at extra cost. I tried the Zumba one and it's meh because the teacher barely interacted with the class. The levels of experience in the room was pretty mixed. I do the punch card and am not a member, so I really only go if it's rainy TBH. However, they do have basic gym equipment so it's worthwhile with the pool access. They currently don't have a family membership so it can be pricey. But it does mean it's not as crowded as I first assumed it would be. So good COVID upkeep and crowd control when I've gone. Hoping they offer more class times or outdoor programs.

We frequent the center for the city of Raleigh's Girls basketball league practices. The gym here is beautiful and the facility is immaculately clean. The desk staff is pleasant and welcoming. There is a historical carousel that I am in love with here. It's a beautiful touch if you're having an event. This center features a plethora of options to throw an event for a rental cost. They offer a reception hall, studio, carousel house, 2 multi purpose rooms, the gymnasium, and fields. The center offers a beautiful view of the city skyline at night. The park on the property is gorgeous and has a wonderful playground as well as walking trails.

We didn't get the chance to explore most of the park but everything looked nice from a distance :) There were a LOT of people playing pickleball too. I'm not sure if there are multiple parking lots, but the one we parked in was quite small but still had a few open spaces. Overall, would definitely consider coming back here, especially on my own so I can walk around and explore a bit more.
