The walking trail is busy with joggers, walkers and sometimes, dogs, along for the exercise with their humans. The trail circles the small pond and winds through the trees. Although in the fall you can see the homes in the back of the park, during the summer you'll maybe never see them when the large trees are fully in bloom. The shelter, the grounds, the dock, the asphalt trail, the play equipment, appears well maintained. Fishing is allowed, with a license from the town of Apex, making this a perfect little spot for low-key relaxing in a not-so-intimidating setting.

The facility is large and fully equipped in various equipment and tools to help the kids with form. Free wifi and plenty of seats make it comfortable while we are waiting. Classes for all ages, boys tumbling and adult fitness offered.

Parking was pretty easy since Game On is part of an outdoor shopping mall. Importantly, there are two levels to the mall, and Game On is located on the top level. We completed the Odin's Trial room in the allotted time, with a few hints from our gamemaster Spundun :) Everything in the room worked as expected, which is always appreciated. In general, escape rooms feel a little overpriced to me, but we did have fun, so I guess I can't complain! Overall, I'd recommend Game On.

It is also one of the parks that has a StoryWalk where you can read pages from a featured children's book (usually themed with nature or gardening or seasons) as you walk along a simple path in the park. I love these because it is exciting for children and engaging while also encouraging literacy and movement during family time. There is so much to do here. I really feel like your kid wouldn't get bored visiting this park. Also there is tons of parking. There were multiple groups celebrating birthdays when we visited on the weekend.
