Therefore, my appointment is cancelled. No option, no offer to at least do my cleaning, Just "too bad" to you. So, I wait several months for the appointment. Now I have to book somewhere else, and wait several months to see the new office. I really don't appreciate the Broadmoor Valley Dental Office for puttng me in this position and not caring about the inconvienence. Really poor customer service. Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours.

I explained to Dr Spaeth what happened concerning my tooth and he was very sympathetic and heard all of my concerns. He genuinely cared and told me he'd accommodate me and told me about several options I had concerning the new crown he was going to make for me. Dr Spaeth and his staff were amazing, professional and friendly. They fit me into the schedule as soon as possible and did the crown for my tooth in less than 2 1/2 hours. The whole procedure was quick for a crown, efficient, painless and trauma-free! Yes, you read that right-- trauma-free. I highly enjoyed my experience with Dr Spaeth because he was efficient but just as important gentle when he was working on my crown. For me one of the most important things about a dentist is not only being efficient and professional but also willing to be gentle with your patients. I'm so glad I found Dr Spaethand now I know where to go for dental work when I'm in CO. Thank you Dr Spaeth! You are a gem of a dentist with an awesome practice!

It was instantly different than any other office I'd experienced, and they made me less anxious even after everything I'd been through with the terrible dentist. I brought the rest of my family with me (we had 3 generation's coming). Even when our insurance said they were out of network we wouldn't go anywhere else. Once I was married my husband made the switch and he agreed everyone is amazing. Dr. Smith and Dr. Erlander and all the hygienists became family friends. I look forward to going and even took my 2 week old baby with me to my appointment because I knew they'd want to meet him. When my grandparents passed away they sent personal messages, and their hygienist attended their funerals, which is unheard of from other places. I can't recommend them enough! Their knowledge and experience shines through as they treat you, and you'll leave with new friends. If you want to look forward to going to the dentist, go here!

If those of you reading this review are looking for a great dentist, these guys are really good. I am now 76 years old and was billed a surprising dollar amount due to change in insurance carriers. I was not aware that the business / billing office would charge me 3 times what is the normal charge for Delta Dental or my new insurer United Health Care. In the past (with Delta) I was billed the difference between the "amount allowed" (the amount the insurance company is willing to pay) and the amount of coverage. example, Billed amount = $400, Amount Allowed = $150, Coverage is 50% of $150 = $75. Because I am now with United Health, same example... Billed amount =$400, Amount allowed = $150, Coverage is 50% should be $75 but NO, I am billed $400 - $150 = $250, coverage is 50% = $125, not $75 as billed under Delta , And NOT told that it would be billed this way until after the procedure(s) are done! Bottom line is if your insurance is out of network or you have no insurance, you are going to billed as much as 3 times more!! I discussed with Tiffany at the office who was very condescending and rude. Unfortunately I will have to change dentist due to the way NON NETWORK is handled at HBD. Tiffany had no problem with me no longer a patient. Terribly unfortunate as again I really like the dentists, but the business office is extremely lacking in tact and professionalism. I had to charge $800 to my credit card and because I am retired (unemployed, living off primarily social security) I will have to pay this off over the next year! No need for the office to reply to this, but I am fairly certain they will (especially if its the front office responding)

New patient, had an 8:00 a.m. appointment. Had to arrive early since they did not send paperwork…read morelike they said. After completing paperwork, I sat in the waiting room until 8:35 before being called back. I was there for a toothache only. It took 5 min+ just to get my name in the computer for an X-ray. After the X-ray it took another 5 min+ to have a dentist look at it and tell me I needed to be referred to an oral surgeon ( thank goodness!!!!). Once I learned who they refer patients to, I asked to be referred to another surgeon I am familiar with. I called Downtown Dentist after my appoint was done, 1 hour for 1 X-ray, and provided them with the surgeon's information. After hearing nothing for 2 days, I called the oral surgery center. They had not received the referral!! The people at this dental office were nice but the place is a train wreck. If you want a place that cares about your care and time, this is not the place for you. I will not go back since they blew it from start to finish.

I spoke with a female receptionist, who assured me they were in-network for insurance. She also assured me that she would verify all of this with the insurance and if there were any problems (being out of network) she would notify me prior to the appointments. Never heard from her, so I assumed all was good, only continued to get reminder texts for the appointments. When we (myself and my two children) walked into the office for our appointments, it wreaked of urine and feces. It was absolutely disgusting. I was never asked by either hygienist if I wanted my kids to receive fluoride.(whether I wanted to or not doesn't matter, it's standard practice to ask the parents) after waiting quite a long time for two standard cleanings, I was told there would be a "co-pay" for each child because the cleanings were only covered at 70%. I paid the "co-pay" and we left, thankfully, finally escaping the awful smell of a used diaper. It was truly disgusting. A few days ago I received a bill saying we owed much more than initially presented, mind you, for standard cleanings with no cavities. We were billed as if the dentist was out of network; so lied to about being in network and fraudulently billed by saying it would verified beforehand. Not to mention, the "co-pays" were not deducted from any of the cost. When the kids father (primary for insurance)called to straighten out the billing issue he was told they use a 3rd party provider for billing; it just keeps getting better. Then had to leave a VM with the billing service, to be told, in a recording, that a return phone call would come in 2 business days. Downtown Dentist, this is who you would like representing you by doing your billing??? This is unacceptable and the dentist is in fact in network. How can you even allow clientele to come into place of business smelling that way? How can you bill people this way after lying to them and making them feel reassured that their insurance is in network. This is fraud. -10/5 recommended.

If you're a busy professional who may need to make last-minute (or even 48-hour changes) to your schedule, this practice won't work for you. This is compounded by their reduced office hours -- some partial days, etc. during the week. And yet, if you have a dental emergency and try to get in at the last minute, you just can't -- or it's very difficult. Generally not very accommodating. I also I had an implant procedure that didn't go well -- the implant post fell out of my mouth after a 1 1/2-hour bone graft procedure to put it in. While I was patient with this situation, they don't extend the same flexibility and courtesy to their patients.

I won't admit how many years passed before I made the call to Dr. Guerra's office. From the moment you walk through their front doors, are greeted by their amazing staff..to working with Dr. Guerra... They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and recognizes patient's fears. I've had extensive gum treatments as well as 6 crowns from Dr. Guerra.
