I needed to add Mom's death date, get some repairs done on the stone, and have a design added. Some Paris relatives had heard good things about Grace Monuments so I gave them a call. Erin was very helpful and patient and kind to me. I live out of town and had no idea where the stone was or even the name of the graveyard. She found the stone for me and even sent me pics of it in my email to help me figure out what I wanted done. I initially thought I'd like an angel engraving done and she sent me lots of angel designs, but eventually I decided on the Ten Commandment tablets to match the words "Follow the ten commandments" which had been engraved when Dad died. Richard worked meticulously on the design. He told me that when he does work on older stones, he strives to make it look like it was done when the stone was originally ordered. He also helped correct a mistake that another monument company had made on the stone years earlier. I am so pleased with the results! I was also impressed with the care that was taken to help me decide what I wanted. We exchanged many emails and talked on the phone several times before I made up my mind. Mine was a small job, just a little bit of engraving, but I felt like my ideas and my requests were just as important to them as somebody who perhaps had bought a whole stone. The journey was actually quite healing, the deciding what design to have engraved, the waiting for the work to be done, seeing the finished product, feeling so proud of what I accomplished for my mother, knowing that she would like it. If Grace Monuments hadn't been so kind and so patient and so respectful, or if they had botched the job as the original monuments company had, it would have been a much more painful process for me. They took good care of me, though. I feel like they took good care of my Mom. She would be very proud of her stone.

Singer told me the only places close to me to service it were in the DFW area but my mom reminded me about Paris Sew & Vac in Reno who she always used. They are super nice and do great work fast. They had it ready the next day and it sews like a dream now. Plus they charged half the price of what the Dallas area businesses wanted to charge me. It only cost me $65 to have it serviced. Of course, had parts been needed then it would've been more but thankfully it only needed servicing. The owners grandfather started the business, taught it to his son who taught it to the grandson so there's a lot of years of experience there. From now on, I won't take my machine, which is my baby, to anyone else!!

Not sure what is causing this kind of turn over in such a short time period. This use to be a great place for kids but it seems to be going down hill fast. Very disappointing! *Yes please seek the truth! Talk to the coaches about how they were treated and what brought them to make the decision to leave. Talk to parents and ask them for feedback. There are 2 sides to every story! Myself and several other parents dropped our children from a particular program because the coach who is said to have made missteps was leaving and for good reason. We all supported her in her decision and we still support her. She loved our babies and gave us reassurance that they were safe and truly cherished! They lost a great asset losing her! You won't change my mind!

I have windows, doors, and carpet that needs to be replaced. I have patio and fencing that needs to be done. And don't get me started on the vehicles. Cold Valley Lawn is great with communication. They will respond to you! And very knowledgable! I already knew the yard is a disaster , mainly because my parents planted things near the foundation of the house and they just scattered seeds. Recently moving to Paris, Hidden Grove Storage was the closest storage facility we could find for our trailer. Kevin (manager) was wonderful to work with. (Don't know what happened to him). In June, 2021 we notified HG that a new facility was opening in Paris and we would be moving our RV there in July and to not draft our monthly payment. HG drafted our bank for that payment anyway for the $106.09. Having no luck with phone calls and E-mails to get the refund, I went to the resort office to ask for the refund. Chad got on his computer and said the refund would show up in our bank in about three days. He indicated that if it didn't refund our account he would write a check for the refund. Of course it did not happen so I contacted Chad and he said he would get right on it. Another few weeks went by and still no check. I called Chad again and told him I didn't want to take this to small claims court but I didn't see other options. I received a check for $85 (not the $106.09 charged) within three days? I'm not sure why that amount was refunded so I sent Chad another E-mail asking for the balance to be sent to me. I even sent a copy of that E-mail by postal service. Now two weeks later, I still haven't seen a check. Be aware that they don't pay their bills in full, like I had to do since 2019.
