They were was nice and responsive when we were first signing up. We could not see the place due to Covid, which was not a huge deal. However, as soon as we signed up and they had my deposit, it seemed as though every question I had annoyed them. Once we started, it got worse. While they were always very responsive, I felt like I was talked to like a moron. I do have a traumatic brain injury and I don't remember things as well as others but the way they spoke to me was not acceptable. I became afraid of asking questions, something that no parent should ever be. Certainly not the kindness that Primrose preaches for its students. A few weeks in, I was ready to cut my losses and run. However, my daughter was doing OK and we decided to stick out the year. I do want to point out that safety and Covid protocol was AWESOME. The teachers were also great but the turnover was insane. While I understand some turnover my daughter had 5-6 different assistant teachers in her 9 months there. I could not even tell you how many teachers she had since we were not always kept up to date on who the teacher was/when teachers left etc. While we were always required to (and did) follow the rules it seems as though the center itself didn't need to follow their own rules and keep us up to date on changes to teachers. This year my daughter is constantly afraid when new teachers come in her new school's classroom, she seems to literally traumatized by the revolving door of teachers from last year. In the time we were there I received zero calls about my daughter having a behavior or sickness issue, we are not a problematic family. However, I never received her evaluations on time and I had to wait months and escalate before I got them. One evaluation they sent her home with some other kid's report and I sent it back and asked for ours, which I got 3 months later. To top it all off, you are not allowed to speak to teachers or other parents. You can't have their contact info (even with permission) and the app they use goes right to the main office and teachers aren't allowed to respond. It wasn't until they realized that we were going to leave as soon as the school year was over that they started being nice again. But honestly, I could not do another year at the school as a parent even though the Private K program was perfect for us. I know this school is still pretty new to the area and I think eventually the way parents (and my guess is teachers given the turnover) are treated is going to catch up with it. It's a shame because the education and program that Primrose has is awesome.

He was very nervous and sad to leave. Leaving this school was harder than the actual milestone of starting kindergarten at a new school. The facility is new (5 years old). We have been with them from the beginning. The inside of the school is clean, inviting, and is in a super convenient location. We can't say enough about the Staff and the Teachers. They are all so warm and loving. They honored all of my nervous "new Mom" requests, especially in the early days when I was so cautious about leaving my first child. The curriculum was age appropriate for each stage our children were in and prepared them well to start elementary school. The school was truly a blessing for us. When the ups and downs of life got crazy, the Goddard School was the one consistent and dependable factor. We are incredibly grateful for the love and support over the years as well as the lifelong friendships we developed with other parents, teachers, and faculty.

This school has a policy to put a 4 year child in a small wooden box or cube called "safety cube" in order to calm him/ her down. How terrifying? My son was traumatized by this experience. I wish no child to go through this. We experienced unprofessional behaviors from the school owners when I dis-enrolled my son from the school. My son is in his second year, and he has made amazing strides from toddler life to being a pre-K student. He loves his teachers (a different room from his sister, but just as wonderful) and will be as ready for kindergarten as her sister. The families at the school are wonderful as well, and I feel like it's been an amazing home away from home for my kids. I will be sad when my youngest moves on from the school. They both learned so much, had so much fun, and made great friends! It's also been a practical choice for our family -- with two working parents, the ability to have our kids there from 7:30-5:30 has been a life saver!!

We appreciated the daily photos on the Facebook page and the renovated playground. On the downside, the owner was terse and we found it impossible to have a constructive conversation with her. She was more interested in lecturing than listening. Organizational skills of the staff are weak, often losing or misplacing paperwork. We had to leave when, at 19 months, our daughter was still in an infant class (other kids 9-15 months) because TNN was not prepared to have space for her in a toddler class. Our daughter was safe and cared for with appropriate activities during her infant months, and TNN is reasonably priced for the area - so we started this rating at 5 stars. Minus 1 star for sloppy organizational skills, and minus 1 star for the poor communication on several interactions with the administration. There's room to improve, but we always felt our daughter was well cared for and engaged in activities throughout every day.

As I know, the owner will end up responding to this review with false allegations and blame…read moreeverything on us instead of being appropriate and professional about our feedback (which we brought up to her over and over in a documented way for our safety), I will not put in writing all the reasons that we took our child from this program. The concerning things will come up over time and not during the initial tour or even the first few months. After we left, we had many parents (past and present) sharing with us that they had "unpleasant interactions" with the director and describing similar behavior we experienced. Some prefer to avoid drama and go with it, and some spoke up and had a direct conflict with her that led to them leaving the program. The bottom line is that while I think your child will be safe in A to Z, any interaction with the director when you are not pleased or have a concern will most likely end up being an unpleasant one and you will end up feeling attacked if you will not back down. This is a cheaper program, but we feel that there are much better programs out there that can combine nurturing environment for your child AND more pleasant and cooperative interactions with the director and staff that are worth the extra cost. When I read Tiffany's review, and based on our experience, I believed her without knowing her and her story, but the patterns are the same. I can also see that the director's patterns of blaming it all on the parents and not taking into consideration any feedback haven't changed in the years since it was posted.

My interactions with staff during pickups were always friendly and pleasant, after the first few times when the director wanted to be REALLY sure that I was authorized to pick him up, and the little boy I babysat often did not want to leave his friends and teachers when I would come to pick him up. Once I was able to pry him away, he would babble to me all the way home and all through his dinner about his day playing on the playground, all of his friends, and what he learned that day (I can't believe they teach Spanish to pre-schoolers!
