The owner, Ms. Cindy, is very kind and reasonable. In addition, she is very knowledgeable in regards to early childhood education and has years of experience in the field. When he began attending this school, he was in the young toddlers classroom, before moving to older toddlers and then Get Set, which prepares three year olds for preschool. His most recent teacher, Ms. Kim, is a gem. She's been at the school for over 10 years and it is very apparent that she loves what she does. She's not one of those teachers who views it as a job to collect a paycheck. She obviously has a passion for working with toddlers, which is what you want when you're sending your toddler to a facility and you're relying on others to attend to them for 6-8 hours a day. When we were having issues with potty training, she gave us valuable tips that we practice successfully to this day. She also taught my son Spanish, among many other valuable things. If we could take her with us, we would. She is the epitome of what you want in a teacher at an early childhood learning center. While enrolled at the school, my son had an accident in which he broke his foot. I was irate as none of the teachers were able to explain how it happened. Ms. Cindy worked with us and we did not have to pay a dime for the medical expenses. There were a few other little mishaps that can be experienced at any childcare center. For example, we would send him with breakfast in bowls labeled with his name and during one week, not one bowl came home. This was frustrating because parents are required to label their child's belongings and you expect said belongings to be returned. The tuition is a bit costly and food is not provided. It's something to be mindful of if you're thinking about enrolling your child.

We also love the app that they use which allows us to see what they are doing each and every day. There is no better feeling than dropping your babies off, knowing that they will be safe and happy. We moved to St. Anne's with our then 6th grader, knowing middle school would only prove more disappointing. After just that one year, we were convinced that our other children should follow. Last year, with 4th, 6th and 7th grade students at SAES, we watched our children truly flourish. Their confidence grew, their minds were challenged, their creativity embraced. At SAES, our children have a voice, their intelligence knows no bounds and their souls are nourished. We know our now 8th grader, in only his 3rd year at St. Anne's, is more than prepared for all that is ahead of him and we truly could not be more thankful.

The teachers and staff consider the whole child, their social, emotional, and intellectual development. Guided by Quaker principles, the community is at the heart of its mission. The children are taught to discover and appreciate the uniqueness of themselves and others. I always feel informed with weekly updates, class newsletters, and monthly breakfast meetings with the principal. Lower student-teacher ratios increase children's engagement and allow for individual needs to be more easily met at FSH. Hearing my child say he loves school is the way it should be for all kids!
