First there was no water flow and I was able to fix that when I was in town. Then it started overflowing and not making ice. I thought I addressed the problem when I was there, but it kept happening. My tenants brought this to our attention on a Friday evening and I left messages with multiple places that night. Stan's got back to me on Sunday with a Monday appointment. The service charge was around $85-$90 (honestly can't remember with all the calls I made). They came out and did some troubleshooting to see if that worked before replacing a part. They could've easily said I needed a new water valve since I don't live in state, but they didn't. Then they called my tenant every 2 days for a week to make sure the repair was holding up. I have had so issues with companies that I have recently hired for things on our rental, so it was so nice knowing that this was handled past my expectations. The quote to do the repair was higher than I expected, but I'm sure it's in line with industry standards. Stan's will be my first call for appliance repair if ever needed.

Having no experience with down drafts, blowers and how they are installed,we ordered what was recommended to us. Come to find out after the blower was delivered that there are various options for blowers that would be compatible with the down draft for various installations, some with 10" ducts and external installations, and some with 8" ducts for internal installations. No questions about installation were ever asked by the salesman. I have 8" joists in the basement, making the installation of the considerably more expensive 10" external blower almost impossible. Not to mention the extensive cutting of the block wall in the basement that would be required. Tried to do a return of the 10" blower and was told this is not possible? What?!?!? The only solutions offered were that they could try and sell it on consignment and take a commission, or try and sell it myself on FB market place. So I had to purchase another blower to complete my kitchen renovation and am now stuck with trying to sell the 10" blower to try and recoup some of my money.

When the service tech came out, he ended up diagnosing that the fridge got switched into demo/store mode and it wasn't the freezer fan at all. Which lowered my bill to a simple trip charge!
