The tutors are professional and care about your child as a person and will work with them to reach their goals. Our son opted to stay enrolled because his advanced learning at Kumon kept him at the head of the class. We would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for tutoring or advancement, as we've been on both sides of the coin.

They'll just give your kid worksheets and homework of math concepts they've learned earlier in elementary school. I was unfortunately enrolled into Kumon as a 7th grader and I did not like it. They gave me a work booklet of elementary addition, subtraction and multiplication (things as I mentioned are elementary school concepts). This was FAR from what I needed to learn, so as a result obviously I still suffered in math. And to this day as I'm closer to graduating high school I still suck at math. tl;dr Kumon teaches irrelevant topics to your kid's grade

UNCW truly does not care about the students. What upper management cares about is money…read more Overacceptance is damaging student experience, it is destroying the greenspace on campus, it is limiting parking options for students. Areas surrounding UNCW is not safe. There are murders and shootings and they want students within a 1 mile radius to walk and bike in a dangerous area to line their pockets. Facilities continue to be upgraded unnecessarily while others remain untouched and dilapidated. It is easily seen that the main goal of UNCW is not to provide higher education but to make upper management wealthy. As wonderful as I think professors and students are, it is all overshadowed by blatantly selfish decisions by leaders of the university. There has not been a semester in which some decision or policy has not screwed me over and squeezed me for my last cent.
