And when I told them- they gave me 2 more shots.. and tried again and I STILL felt everything. I screamed and cried . They drilled about 5-6 holes in my teeth for fillings.. I was there for FIVE HOURS. yet my teeth still feel the same, it hurts to eat it's very uncomfortable. So what did yall do..? Because the same issues I came in with I left with. First off . I'm going to start w/ the waits. Usually whenever it's busy it'll take very long. They are straight to the point when called. You have to have your stuff aligned when it comes to places that don't know what's going on . Staff are friendly , Dr. is kind . Very stern and bold, just had an experience that I had to get info rent in to the insurance for them to cover procedures . Well, that didn't work out so well . I'm back and have all paperwork so they won't tell me other wise. Unprofessional experience I had were staff called off making it tough and hard on other people who are at work(doing the best they can)! That being said the ones who were there were discussing getting off and the weather . I could hear multiple conversations. I don't want to hear that . Music should have been played . Other they could have went to another room on break. Last just leaving I didn't know if I needed to check out at desk . But, some lady cleaning up area and desk . (Wasn't the receptionist) simply said "if they told you were good " you are good to go" just real smart and like I'm supposed to know this . Overall it's has its pros and cons. Awful. Terrible. Horrendous. First time I went in was for a consultation and I went alone. I waited two hours for someone to even come in a speak to me. By the time the periodontist came and spoke to me he was AWFUL and rude. Second time I made my husband come back with me and the doctor treated me like a normal person and was kind. Third time my husband wasn't aloud back and I was treated so bad I left crying. I was told I was wasting his time (he told me to schedule the appointment), told me I needed an unnecessary surgery, and tried bullying me into a procedure I had told him multiple times before was not happening by him and was scheduled for another place. He was rough, impatient, and god awful. I over heard him downgrading other patients in other rooms and even heard him tell an older women to shut up when she stated she was in pain. The other staff members are just as openly and disgustingly rude. One even said "oh he's on his rampage again today" when walking back to X-ray after overhearing him downgrading me. Downloaded Yelp just to make this review. Our son had a dentist appointment at 11am. We arrived a half hour early and we are still waiting to be seen. We've witnessed people walking out because they haven't talked to the dentist in the back. The receptionist was also rude to certain patients about scheduling appointments. Also on top of all this I don't understand how they give up your placement if you're 10 minutes late but we don't even get called back for a whole hour or 2. People have lives to attend to rather than waiting in a lobby. read more

I took time off work to bring my children in for their cleaning and yearly they have missed out on since this whole plandemic started. They refused to see my children or even check them in bc I did not have a mask... I have asthma plus religious exemption forms their policy is not law and they have no authority over my health they are not my doctor... Yet they refused to see my children bc of a face mask. My children have been going to this dentist their whole life never have I met such tyrants in my life as happened today.... I give one star because I met ONE nice woman during my visit she was a hygienist, not even my dentist. They claimed I had 4 horrible cavities that needed filled immediately and I now for sure know that I had absolutely no cavities. because I got a second opinion since I couldn't see or feel a single cavity. Also I'm 70% sure they billed me the wrong part of the part of bill plus they waited to discuss payment that needed to be paid THAT DAY after they had given me numbing shots in my mouth for a root canal. Also I was originally told it cost me half of the price it actually ended up costing me. I was told this by THE OTHER BRIGHT NOW IN CANTON. this all happened at the one in Cleveland. Also, because they "wanted to close early due to not having anymore appointments" they asked me to reschedule my appointment at Belden village because there was a complication for my insurance. It was 3pm on a Monday. I drove up there and had waited until 4:30 pm. This is when they asked me to reschedule. I then said no, I have an appointment, you'll take me today. I'm usually a very understanding person but I felt as if they were only there for the paycheck at the end of the week. The nice hygienist I mentioned earlier had to beg the dentist to prescribe me pain medication because I had a cavity that was so bad that I, a 20 year old woman, was in tears. And she still did not. I had no money for an appointment that day. I had never even heard of having to give anything more than a $20-40 copay the day of a visit. The insurance is supposed to cover the rest? But no I was supposed to pay close to $200 per filling for four fillings I DID NOT NEED. When I said I don't have that kind of money, they ended my appointment sent me off with a prescription for amoxicillin to stop the infection from spreading. She was very unprofessional, and walked around like she was queen of the office. Didn't look in my mouth, offer me any pain relief, etc. I took my old records, and went to the front desk. Took 18yr old son to the appointment. New patient and first time there. Day one: went to the dentist in Belden Villiage Mall. Got to the appointment 20 minutes early. Was told to fill out a paper. Which we did. Was told there's more pages it to and to finished filling it out. Told receptionist didn't know that. Receptionist said it happens all the time. Then why not say it's a packet to begin with?! Finished filling it out. Was told to wait in the cold food court and they'd come get us. Asked how long it would be and receptionist looked at me and ignored the question. Said to sit in the food court. When all the paperwork was turned in, it was the appointment time. They didn't call my son back until 40 minutes after his appointment time. While waiting we saw a lot of other patients arrive, get seen and leave. When son was called back, asked again how long it would be. Receptionist said to wait in the food court, ignoring question again. I asked again but louder. Receptionist said to wait in food court and walked off. We stood there waiting for her to come back. She never did. Son was expecting a cleaning but only got X-rays. Day two: took son for a cavity filling, but multiple was done. Didn't expect that. Was early to the appointment again and had to wait an hour before being seen. Watched again as other people came and went. Son went back to get fillings. The next day he said his mouth hurt. Day after that it was hurting worse. Son called the dentist to let them know of the issue. They advised he should come in. Day three: son saw dentist about the pain. Waited another hour AGAIN to be seen. Was told they OVER FILLED his cavity and all that was done for him was a prescription for ibuprofen 800mil. Which did NOT help. Son is still in excruciating pain. Tried to eat and his mouth started to bleed! Can't eat and can't sleep from the pain. Currently trying to find a new dentist to see him immediately. Debating about taking him to the ER. Please shred and burn his file. We will never EVER step foot in your office again. The worst experience ever. I had a horrible experience as a child from a dentist and developed a phobia. I pray that didn't happen with my son. I will post this on any review place possible. Bright Now dental needs to be shut down. Do NOT take your children to this place! read more

I was referred, first time at BN arrived at 8:20 am for an appointment at 8:40am. A man was sitting at the front desk, did not greet me said he was a Dr and did not know anything. Why sit up there if you can't at least greet and say hello? Then the receptionist came out, gave me paperwork to complete, After completing paperwork. I waited an hour and 20 mins as I watched patients come and go. I went up to the receptionist to ask what was going on? She asked my name, then went to the back for a bit then came back out and said something about their provider, and told me to follow her. She then told me to sit in dental chair. Another lady came in did not introduce herself and asked me what was I there for? I said it's on my paperwork (1 filling) with my referral, x-rays, etc. She left, another lady came in did not introduce herself and began talking saying I needed this, that and other. I said no, I have already had that done. She said oh and started laughing saying she read the wrong x-ray. She then said your insurance will not cover the product for my tooth and it would be 1,400. told the other lady to schedule me and walked out. Very rudely, did not ask if I had any questions nor explained any part of the procedure or the care of my tooth. I felt very disrespected, she was inconsiderate, non professional, rude. I have anxiety about the dentist and this visit for a new person as myself made it worst. There was a man screaming very loud from pain as well. It seemed like as I waited it was a dental zoo. I called to speak to the Office Manager, she apologized however was short with me and continued talking about what my insurance would not pay and not the issue at hand. I have been here for two years with 3 of my children. It's always the same... you wait for an hour or more to be seen every single visit! This is getting redundant.. do you guys even read your reviews?? There has been zero improvement in staff respecting there patients time. Stop scheduling people on top of people. I will never again bring my daughter to any bright now location even if it was the last dentist around.. Where do I start? our appointment was at 9 we got there 10 minutes early and the lady said it would just be a few minutes until Dr. Wood could see us! Fine. We sat down and they had the television extremely loud and made it hard to hear if they called her name or not. 9:20 rolls around and we are the only ones in the waiting room waiting to be called back. Still waiting finally got called back about 9:30. They sat us in a room and turned a TV on for my daughter, again extremely loud. We didn't see Dr. Wood until about 10:15. I have a 3 yo and she was extremely restless waiting... tbh so was I. Finally seeing Dr Wood and it was extremely stressful. he looked at her teeth for about 2 seconds. Proceeded to ask what kind of insurance I have not once, not twice but 3 times during our entire 10 minute conversation. He started to tell me how irresponsible it is that I allowed my daughter to break ONE of her front teeth. How I need to set better boundaries for my child. I'm 6 months pregnant and emotional, so I started to cry at this point. He continued to tell me that my insurance would NEVER cover this type of procedure and if they would I have to call because he won't make his office call about it and waste their time (she needed to be put under for about 30 minutes to get a filling or a cap). I gathered my stuff and started to leave. He kept saying if I set better boundaries for my child we wouldn't be in this situation... as I was leaving he was talking to the front desk girls. One of them said "would you like to set another appointment" and laughed. I was in tears. I will be contacting the BBB I will never ever come back to a bright now location. This place needs shut down. I called my insurance when we got home they said they would cover the procedure no problem I did find out that they have a contract with my insurance company and they can only charge me a set amount. I had an 9:45am new patient apt. Got to the office at 9:40. It took them about 20 mins to even call me up to ask for id & insurance. Luckily I filled out the paperwork prior to coming. I sat in the waiting room for another hour or so. They called back walk ins before me. Two people who didn't have apts were seen before me. They finally brought me back and took X-rays. I then sat in the exam room for another hour. I heard them bring a patient back and the doctor went directly in with her. The medical assistant came in and asked if the doc saw me yet and I said no. She said oh I'm sorry he must have forgot about you. Waited another 20 for him to finish with the other woman until he finally came in to see me. I went to Brightnow to have a wisdom tooth removed. I had a referral and X-rays from my dentist. I got in immediately which was great because I was in pain. The oral surgeon came in after looking at my X-ray and said I will need a prior authorization or he could do it right now for $200, because government insurance like mine won't pay. I told him I didn't have $200. He got annoyed and said that the staff will submit the PA but it most likely won't get approved and if it does it will take at least 2 weeks. This whole time he's being extremely rude and condescending. So I leave and reschedule. Fast forward 10 days and I receive a letter from my insurance that the PA for a CROWN was denied. I called my insurance and explained that I never needed a crown and that the dental office clearly sent in the wrong patient info. She takes a look and not only had they sent in the wrong info, the code they submitted for the PA didn't even need authorization. So, I waited 10 days in pain for nothing. I didn't go back for the removal because at this point I don' trust anyone in that office to get anything right, especially that oral surgeon. read more

Bright Now is a great place to come for dental work... you may have to wait a few minutes, but it's worth it compared to a lot of the places I have been! The dentist I saw was very friendly and thorough- I knew exactly what she was going to do before she did it and that made me feel more comfortable. The assistant was friendly too! Paid $1,000 each for porcelain crowns on two of my daughter's teeth. She was 18 at the time with otherwise perfect teeth. Nothing but complications, incorrectly manufactured crowns, etc. Two years later, both teeth were extracted. The oral surgeon (not from Brite Now Dental), said it was the worst botched job he had ever seen and was sorry that a 20-year-old girl should have had to go through all that pain and suffering. read more

Was there for the first time. I first noticed that the light didn't have the blue tape cover over the handles for hygiene. Then the hygienist is setting up the chart and looking in my mouth to see what's what but then we go to X-ray. She wears the same gloves and is touching the X-ray computer, the activation switch, the protective apron and the thing that goes in my mouth. How many others are touching this stuff with "used" gloves? I had thoughts of walking out. After retiring to the pod she changed gloves. Then there was the so-called "cleaning". She literally tapped each tooth with the polisher and just one side! It took three minutes! I actually chuckled. I have had dozens and dozens of hygienist in my life and it's always like 20 minutes. I know when I arrived I commented on how busy it was and she said: "yes we are over booked and understaffed". I can certainly appreciate that but you know what they say about first impressions. read more
