When I first walked into the infant classroom, a teacher was playing music that was completely inappropriate for babies. Then, in the 3-4-year-old room, I noticed teachers being downright impolite to the children. I understand using a firm voice when needed, but they were speaking to these kids as if they were adults, without any consideration for age-appropriate communication. It was uncomfortable to watch. What shocked me most was how phones were out during nap time instead of staff helping children settle down and rest. The director seemed to play favorites and turned a blind eye to the chaos. I've never seen such carelessness or fake behavior in a childcare setting. One moment that truly disturbed me was when a little boy mentioned "just like Squid Games" during an activity, and Ms. James shouted at him in anger. The child didn't say anything wrong--he was just making an observation. Then there was a teacher who said, out loud, that a child "might have a yeast infection" because she was itchy. That's incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional. To make things worse, I was left alone in classrooms with children I had never met before, without any proper schedule or introduction. That's not only unsafe, but it's also unfair to both the kids and the staff. I introduced myself the best I could, but no one supported me or helped ease the transition. Some of the staff might be decent, but from what I observed, they weren't welcoming or helpful. It felt like the bare minimum was being done. I also noticed they were preparing food without gloves, using children's restrooms (which I later found out is illegal), and those same bathroom doors don't lock--so any child could walk in while an adult is using the restroom. To use a proper bathroom, staff would have to walk across to another building, which could leave classrooms over ratio. On top of that, no one answers the door when you knock. There were just too many violations in one day for me to stay quiet. I'm genuinely tempted to report them to the state. Those kids looked scared to be there, and no child should ever feel that way in a place that's supposed to care for and educate them. Parents, please be careful. Don't be fooled by a fake smile. Some of these places are unsafe, and they'll gaslight you if you speak up. Stay aware and protect your kids. It could never be me

One of the teachers joked that our actions were extreme but it was the best decision we've ever made. She is excelling at her new school and what a difference an environment makes. I will say that we felt the management and teachers were very personable and professional but the saftey of my child was in danger. In my opinion, the County of Dekalb should get involved. March 6th he started a new daycare and when I tell you the daycare is a total 360! At Kindercare my son never ran to hug any teacher and he cried or whined nearly everyday I dropped him off! When he's out sick they call and check on him! Never had that happen at Kindercare! The energy was off there! Kids know because they can feel it too! They also write a summary of everything they do and what they learned. Kindercare barely sent pictures and they barely ever uploaded reports! If your just looking for a daycare to have a place to put them while at work then it's cool but if your looking for them to learn and discover and have fun and enjoy themselves send them elsewhere! The classrooms at his new daycare are really large and they have two teachers at all times and about 12 students total whereas Kindercare have loads of students and one teacher! This daycare does not understand how to work with any children needs or wants when they are upset…read moreand especially non verbal children with special needs. They will kick your child out for crying too much or for running around which is what they did to my child! Also their doors dnt lock so the kids can exit if they want.... One time I went to pick up my son and he was following behind 2 parents with 2 other children...he had made it through 2 doors into the area where the front desk is, so they definitely don't watch them like they should! Always wet up and clothes always inside out and backwards at pickup they dnt even think to fix their clothes! They told me after 4 months of attendance that they needed an IEP and evaluation for him to be able to return and that would tell them how to respond when he's upset and crying or acting out! You would think a daycare that has been caring for him for 4 months would have established a way to deal with a child when he's upset...however they rather outsource to help them learn how to run a daycare! If they needed an evaluation for children that don't speak they should have asked for that in the beginning for all non verbal children or all children of that matter since they sending them home for screaming and acting out from time to time! Mr. Eric also don't document incidents like other daycares to let you know a problem is arising, he just kick the child out giving you no time to work on things or find another daycare for that matter! Thank God I have the pleasure of having my own businesses and not punching nobody's clock as I wouldn't have a job dealing with this daycare...also a ratio of one teacher for every 6 toddlers is required however my sons class had 15 students and one teacher! Mr Eric is also not truthful ! He sat in a meeting and said that he never said my son couldn't return without an IEP which he definitely said on the phone he just didn't have it in him to admit it in person and I didn't have time to go back and forth ! Also he will keep your child enrolled which means daycare fees still have to be paid even tho he dnt allow them to return... while he have you doing something that requires a long wait time...he knew 2 weeks ago he wasn't going to let my son return he had every excuse in the world but didn't un enroll him ...such a scam! They so lazy they don't even document your children's food like they should or update their schedule..so basically the app is for nothing it be empty half the days and you get pics maybe 2 times a week...I had a meeting with Mr. Eric and the director Samantha yesterday and she did do everything she could to try and resolve the situation to have my son return however Mr Eric had every excuse in the book of why he couldn't come back with this or that and no documents to back up anything he said my son did! We were asked about our baby's needs, we were asked to fill out a meal plan, sleep schedule and were told they would make every effort to follow it. Babies were being left to cry with little to no comfort, expected to stay in a crib for 2 hours whether they were taking a nap or not, if my baby fell asleep before "nap time" and woke up while other babies were asleep, he was confined to a high chair. He was fed another babies food on multiple occasions, sent home with other babies bottles. There were times my baby went the whole day with only one bottle and only got it because I called and asked them to give him his bottle. The teachers were rude anytime I called with a concern I was either spoken to rudely or hung up on. The lead teacher is ruff with the babies and picks them up by the arms. They refused to follow any suggestions I had to help my baby take a nap or eat. One time I called and asked them to please try and feed my baby again because he barely ate his lunch and was told "No we are not doing that lunch time is over." We are talking about infants here. A few of the teachers really tried but there were so many issues and concerns all brought to Miss Beverly's attention. She is a nice lady but the staff do not listen to her or respect her or the GA state laws for childcare. I had to pull my son out because the things I was witnessing were very upsetting.
