Communication problems w/legal PA for my lawyer. Personally handed them our personal tax filings, to provide documentation. Subsequently she asked me to provide VA, Retirement income and some misc. I responded and said she already had the documents on our tax filing for 2024. Very easy to read. However the legal PA for my lawyer, responded"I'm not a tax accountant person-you need to provide me the documents I asked for. When I reacted and indicated she already had the documents I was given the kiss of death with her threat to get another office person. We've all experienced that with customer service-which this was, AND I AM PAYING for her abusive behavior. Since she had our tax documents-I had to gain access to multiple sites to get the documents. This is costing me $$$$ for her delaying processing. Speaking of money, they are running through my money quickly, have no problem charging, more and more. I have had this this ominous feeling that the legal PA was padding the bills. Customer service-I am paying for their services-and having attention to details and stop acting with "service for Brighter Day" before service to the client, "ME". Whatever happened to service before self" The lawyer representing me (has been copied on every matter, has been non responsive and has not weighed in on any matter-and I am more than insanely furious. I was pestered multiple times to provide Google/Yelp reviews, and felt it was to early to provide a fair review. That time has come with their last email asking me to review-am I being charged for that??? I usually would give the manager/lawyer a heads up-a chance to address-but her lack of engagement over these issues-was the straw that broke the Camel's back. I expect that they will do nothing or try to dump me, or have even more incompetent assistants/lawyers. Why am I paying lawyer fees when a paralegal does the work? That seems very greedy to me. I'm sure I'll hear about this and expect confrontation or anger instead of prompt professional service. I don't mean curt snide non helpful verbiage that is not professional, and bloating billing. . Paid this company a lot of $$ and did not get good representation in court or good communication. Basically lawyer did not provide me with much of anything. Your just a number here among all the other 500 plus cases they have and they don't have time for your case. I do not and would not ever recommend these people to anyone. I have a new lawyer that has done soooo much more for me in a short amount of time versus these people who did virtually the least amount possible for my case. My estate and personal well being was in huge jeopardy if I would have stayed with them and I probably would have lost everything. Happy I moved on to a different lawyer. read more

Had a horrible experience with Brighter day. They gave me bad advice and dug me in a deep hole with my divorce case. I felt like they didn't fight for me and bowed down to my ex's every demand. On top of that they nickel and dimed me every step of the way costing me thousands. I felt like every email would cost me $80. $80 just to answer a simple question!! The team at Brighter Day Law is amazing. I'm not sure what previous reviews were talking about but I've found the team responsive, caring, and very professional. As with any service, clients need to clearly communicate with their lawyer (doctor, dentist, plumber, etc.). They aren't mind readers if you don't give them good info. You don't have to micromanage the team, but at least ask questions when you have them and don't let things get out of control. They are happy to let you know what is going on in your case, and correct any issues. read more

Brighter Day Law was unfortunately recommended to me and I should have read the review on Yelp first. Brighter Law needs to work on their bedside manners, professionalism, and "work" for and with their "hiring" clients. Their lack of communication, poor legal advice, and not familiar with background information about my case was disappointing. They unethically sent me documents to sign without advising me about what I was signing, that's when I lost my confidence and credibility of their so-called expertise. Neither party had yet been served divorce papers and they had charge exorbitant amounts for doing absolutely nothing but sending communication interdepartmentally. Brighter Day law charged me numerous fees to do something I could have done for $350. Lots of charges for reading emails and case updates. Nothing has happened in my divorce yet and I'm out $2000. Was also charged for reviewing a bill with the billing agent. read more

brighter day law is not worth your time or money. I had them represent me in a divorce. in 30 day of having them they were not able to submit a response to the courts or get the the information from opposing counsel and still charged me 2700$. The firm does not hold their lawyers accountable and just sticky with the bill read more
