I could not be more pleased with the attention to detail of the providers, feedback to me the parent after each visit, and the progress that my kids have made. Kate is working RPM in conjunction with a home program for one of my boys and we are amazed each week by what he knows and most importantly, that he can now have a way to show us. Denise maintains phenomenal instructional control and works specifics for fine motor improvement, spacial awareness, hand eye coordination etc. I also love that she will try new things to elicit a new response to similar stimuli. She's always thinking of new ways to achieve results. I find the therapists to be "real people", knowledgeable in their trade, professional, and loving towards kids. The atmosphere is another plus. It's a welcoming Center with a waiting room that would put other center's to shame. There are tables to work at your computer, things to keep your other kids occupied and there is also a huge play room with ball pit, trampoline and swings available. The owner knows the world well and lives it daily. That is why she makes every effort to make the experience a great one for not only the kids, yet the families and caregivers who are present also. I started my son here in the Winter of 2019. We were unsatisfied with the preschool program that he…read morewas in so we looked around to see if there was a place that would offer ABA therapy and be full-time as his preschool was part-time and often didn't have class due to administrative days and what not which was really frustrating. There aren't that many ABA centers that provide full day services and when I visited some of them they looked so cold and clinical. When I visited Ally I got a better, more personalized feeling since it was more open and you would see kids playing. They have great communication and I can always speak to the BCBA when I need to and the teachers are great. Additionally, when most preschools/day care centers were closed early on and often stayed closed in the pandemic, they were only briefly closed and were able to go back to providing in-home services which was great since as we all know that the pandemic has had a negative impact on kids with ASD due to lack of available/in person services. They have also been taking precautions during the Pandemic which is great. Although my son got off to a rocky start due to the new environment and change in schedule (to be expected with a kid with ASD), with each day we saw improvement. Over the past two years he has been at the center, he has become a more social, active, talkative little boy. We were sad to leave this past fall because we had such a great experience, but he has been thriving in kindergarten due to the foundation that was built at Ally. All in all this is a great place and if you're looking for quality ABA center, Ally Behavior Centers is the way to go.

They have multiple treatment rooms, a multi sensory room and and large gym. The therapists work hard to get to really know your child and target their needs and strengths. Communication between staff and family is great and they are open to discussing different treatment options and goals. They are also willing to work with the school and IEP teams. I met Meghan (the owner & BCBA) a year ago when I thought something might be wrong with my daughter…read more- she was not speaking at all! I thought there was a slight chance that she might have autism. My daughter's lack of communication skills lead her to violently bang her head on the floor because she couldn't communicate her basic needs - water, food, etc. My husband and I didn't always understand what she needed. At the first session, Meghan had her signing 3 words. After a few months, Meghan taught my daughter to sign 20 words and also taught her to make more of an effort to speak. More importantly, she taught me and my husband how to motivate my daughter to speak. She had a ton of tools in her toolbox for us. She also significantly reduced the violent behaviors and frustrations my daughter had. She also helped me navigate the system to figure out what was going on with my daughter. I went to this Clinic for the SPECT scan to get more detailed information on my ADD. I'd read…read moreabout Dr. Amen and the scan in online ADD sites. I was treated very well; everyone I encountered was professional and friendly. I felt like a respected person, as opposed to just a number. Because I drove from six hours away, the necessary three evaluation appointments were scheduled for me three days in a row. Nothing was scary, nothing was invasive. When all was done, the report, scan images and other information were all put in a nice three-ring binder for me. Many insurance companies do not pay for the scan. Many in the medical and insurance fields consider this scan experimental. Because of that, CPT/billing codes with descriptions are included with the information. There is also an example letter by Dr. Amen to use when appealing an insurance company's claim denial. I would recommend this place to my nearest and dearest. The trip and money were well worth it.

I went into my Zoom appointment with Dr. Sumner feeling nervous, which honestly was expected since…read moreanxiety was the very reason I was seeking help. That said, I was not terribly anxious because I had already had such a wonderful, warm, and reassuring intake call with her assistant Sarah, who was kind, patient, and thorough. Even so, I had never met Dr. Sumner before, and with my anxiety being as high as it was, I felt that familiar edge of fear creep in. Within just minutes of speaking with Dr. Sumner, that fear completely melted away. Her presence was calm, grounded, and deeply compassionate, and I immediately felt safe. She took the time to truly listen, not just to my symptoms, but to my story. She gently and clearly explained that the anxiety I was experiencing was a very normal response to the amount of stress I had been under. That alone brought such relief. What truly stood out to me was when she explained how anxiety often feeds on itself, how we become anxious about having anxiety, which only intensifies it. That insight hit home so deeply. I had experienced a difficult bout of anxiety back in 2019, and having it return stirred up so many old, painful memories. Dr. Sumner understood this immediately and addressed it with such wisdom and kindness that I felt seen and understood rather than judged or rushed. She also quickly picked up on the fact that I am very hesitant about medication and strongly prefer natural approaches. Instead of dismissing that, she respected it fully. Learning that Dr. Sumner is also an herbologist spoke straight to my heart. It meant everything to be working with someone who honors both mental health and natural healing. Her approach felt balanced, thoughtful, and deeply humane. By the end of our call, I felt something I had not felt in a long time, peace. I could breathe again. I felt hopeful.
