My daughter has a tendency to get easily distracted and she did wonderfully keeping her engaged yet still loving the therapy. In fact, my oldest daughter often wanted to join in on the fun. My daughter looked forward to her therapy each week and still asks when we can have Kelli come back. In addition to the in-person therapy, Kelli also provided us with fun exercises we could do on our own to supplement our learning and she also provided me support when working through an IEP re-evaluation. I couldn't ask for more!

We brought our 4yo daughter here under a recommendation that she get evaluated for speech and audio…read moreconcerns. We appreciate how honest the therapist was about how she didn't see any underlying concerns with her in this area and was not pushy about continuing therapy sessions. But we did discuss perhaps occupational therapy to help her with feeding for future development. So we booked a few feeding OT sessions with Nadia and my daughter was in love with her from day 1. She was kind, patient and instantly connected with our daughter in trying to pin point the best way to encourage her to open up on how she interacts with food. Would highly recommend.

My son has been attending speech therapy sessions at Fairfax Pediatric Therapy since early January…read more He is almost 9 and has always struggled with his "s," "sh," and "ch" sounds - but we waited to see if he would grow out of it (he didn't). On recommendation of our dentist, we tried some videos to help him with speech, but we were not successful on our own. After a Zoom call with Ariel and Ahmad, the speech therapist, we felt very confident and comfortable with Fairfax Pediatric Therapy. After the first session, my son made huge strides in his "sh" sounds - he was actually able to articulate it correctly, even if it was a struggle. Long story short, as of today (3 months after starting) Finn has met all of his speech goals and no longer needs the services. Both Ahmad and Finn worked hard to make this happen - and in such a short time. I didn't expect progress so fast, to be honest. Not only that - my kiddo actually looked forward to the sessions. Ahmad took the time to get to know his interests - chess and strategy games - and built the sessions around play. When we left today, for the last time, Finn said he was going to miss his friend. We have had the best experience! Thank you.

As a parent, choosing ABA therapy for your child is not a small decision. It feels emotional,…read moreoverwhelming, and honestly a little scary. From our very first interaction, MeBe made us feel supported instead of pressured. What stood out immediately was how much time they took to truly get to know our child -- not just the diagnosis, but their personality, strengths, and what motivates them. The BCBAs build real relationships with families. Communication has been clear and consistent, and I've never felt left out of the process. I always know what we're working on and why. The therapists are warm, patient, and genuinely excited about the progress they see. Sessions feel structured and purposeful, but still playful and engaging. My child looks forward to going -- and that alone says so much. Progress hasn't been overnight (and no one promised that), but it has been steady and meaningful. We're seeing skills carry over into home and school in ways that truly matter for our family. If you're a parent trying to figure out next steps, I can say this: MeBe leads with relationships first. And that has made all the difference for us.

Under one roof, the Driver Rehabilitation Center for Excellence (DRCE) will do a full driving evaluation of someone who is disabled but wants the freedom and mobility of driving restored to their life. DRCE provides a comprehensive program to evaluate whether the person is capable of driving, designs a system to get them back on the road and modifies vehicles in their state of the art shop to accommodate special needs. In the past therapists working with the disabled and vehicle modifiers adapting vehicles for the disabled worked in different silos and talked past one another. DRCE integrates the entire process. Not only does DRCE service wounded warriors and other disabled persons wishing to get back on the road, they also provide independent driver evaluations for senior citizens. In my case, my wife and I wanted to provide other family members assurance that a senior family member was still capable of driving locally to familiar locations during the day. DRCE put this senior family member through a series of mental agility, coordination and on the road evaluations then delivered a comprehensive report on this persons ability to drive. The two co-founders, Josh and Tammy, are on site you work with them during the evaluation. Highly recommended for anyone who is disabled and wants to drive again or who wants to evaluate the driving capabilities of a senior family member.

Zero stars. My experience with Dr. Gregory Johnson was extremely upsetting and unprofessional…read more I provided the office with all requested medical records a week before my appointment, yet it became clear during the visit that Dr. Johnson had not reviewed any of the documentation beforehand. After asking what brought me in, he repeatedly interrupted and cut me off while I was trying to explain my symptoms and medical concerns. What was most concerning was the way I was treated during the appointment. I felt dismissed, shamed, and humiliated in front of two staff members when attempting to discuss my health issues. I have never walked out of a medical appointment before, but I ultimately felt so uncomfortable and unheard that I left before the evaluation was completed. The front desk staff also seemed completely unconcerned when I left and did not ask what had happened or whether I was okay. I was additionally uncomfortable with what I felt was unsolicited medical advice outside the scope of optometric care. I chose this practice after spending many hours researching providers and reading positive reviews, so this experience was deeply disappointing. This practice also operates on a cash-pay basis, which made the experience even more frustrating. When patients are paying significant out-of-pocket costs, there is an expectation of professionalism, preparation, compassion, and respectful treatment. Patients deserve to be treated with professionalism, respect, and empathy. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here, and I cannot recommend this practice based on my visit.

He is located in Manassas, VA and is a developmental optometrist and has a great background with kids who are nonverbal. Um...excuse me, come again?!?!?! Yeah...nonverbal kiddos (if you don't know me, I have an older son with special needs and is nonverbal). Again, I am so glad I was referred here. The intake process was easy and Julia was so nice taking the time to explain the process and answer any questions I had. ***note: they do not take any insurance so this is out of pocket. Fortunately, we had savings and funds for this and it's honestly worth it. Typically I'm a little hesitant and would drag my feet but everything I read and heard was nothing but fantastic and beneficial. Their website is super helpful too! (LOVE the YouTube videos they have available.) if you need help with finding, check out their alternatives of payment acceptance such as grants on their website too. Anyways, appointment was set within the next 2 weeks and super excited. During the wait time you are given homework. (Aka paperwork, answer questions on history, doc/therapy note upload, and videos to watch on their website) The day of the appointment, def look up where it is (location and building). We went in and checked in and was seen pretty quickly. Dr.Davis was phenomenal. He was with us from the beginning to end, went through the whole process and even had you record the appointment. It was fantastic and I def see why he is referred and is great at what he does. You can bet your butt I've been raving about him nonstop and took all of his suggestions and advice on what to do to help with my son's vision. The pic does not justify the experience or office setting. When you walk through those doors, it's so bright and colorful (I didn't want to take any photos with risk of taking pics or any clients). There is also a vision therapy room in there too. 100% recommend!!!
