My daughter has a tendency to get easily distracted and she did wonderfully keeping her engaged yet still loving the therapy. In fact, my oldest daughter often wanted to join in on the fun. My daughter looked forward to her therapy each week and still asks when we can have Kelli come back. In addition to the in-person therapy, Kelli also provided us with fun exercises we could do on our own to supplement our learning and she also provided me support when working through an IEP re-evaluation. I believe it was the best decision we could've made because my son gets both speech and OT therapy that is coordinated. The therapists, all the staff, Judy and Richard have been a wonderful support to our family and we can honestly say that thanks to this amazing team both of my sons have made great progress. My younger son went from not being able to communicate and being afraid of the world around him and many activities that most toddlers do to being able to communicate/have conversations and engaging with other children and activities. He's now making great progress on his fine motor skills, so many of his sensory challenges have resolved and he's even eating different foods/textures now. There are so many progresses my kids have made that it's hard to list them all. I'm thankful we found this facility. Their DIR Floor time approach helped my son to be comfortable with his team so when we started he didn't spend time in meltdown mode and was able to participate and engage with his therapists. I believe this approach was very key to the success we've seen in his progress. I believe having both speech and OT in this whole/body whole/person approach has had a great positive impact. Additionally, the facility really meets their therapy needs with spacious rooms with different themes and different activities to work on different therapy needs. My kids are excited and happy to go to therapy. They are never bored as they go to different rooms each week that keeps them engaged. Judy and Richard and the therapists always make time for me whenever I have a question or just need someone to talk to. Richard really set our minds at ease with dealing the insurance companies. He understand their billing and makes sure we understand our coverage so we can get the most services covered for our kids. The therapists are very knowledgeable and work so well with the kids. Judy has let us look over her library of books and resources and been a great support. We do Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Listening Therapy, Interactive Metronome. We highly recommend Creative Health!

My oldest graduated from her speech class today and the difference in how she talks is INCREDIBLE in less than 3 months. Janine was also the one to tell us (before our pediatrician!) that my daughter has enlarged tonsils, which was also affecting her speech. Janine really genuinely cares for her students and has made a profound impact on my daughter. I have 2 other kids who I will definitely sign up if they start to encounter the same speech problems. Janine was great, she's attentive, patient, and engaging when playing and helping my son with his speech. She would provide tips and exercises to practice at home when not in therapy. Janine is very knowledgeable, and was able to answer most of my questions, We started seeing her in Oct, and b/c of covid and sickness, it's been on and off. However, within few months, I can see big improvement in my son's speech. He went from using one word communication, to 2 words. Now he's singing songs, even though I can only understand half of the lyrics. :)

But we did discuss perhaps occupational therapy to help her with feeding for future development. So we booked a few feeding OT sessions with Nadia and my daughter was in love with her from day 1. She was kind, patient and instantly connected with our daughter in trying to pin point the best way to encourage her to open up on how she interacts with food. Would highly recommend.

My son has been attending speech therapy sessions at Fairfax Pediatric Therapy since early January…read more He is almost 9 and has always struggled with his "s," "sh," and "ch" sounds - but we waited to see if he would grow out of it (he didn't). On recommendation of our dentist, we tried some videos to help him with speech, but we were not successful on our own. After a Zoom call with Ariel and Ahmad, the speech therapist, we felt very confident and comfortable with Fairfax Pediatric Therapy. After the first session, my son made huge strides in his "sh" sounds - he was actually able to articulate it correctly, even if it was a struggle. Long story short, as of today (3 months after starting) Finn has met all of his speech goals and no longer needs the services. Both Ahmad and Finn worked hard to make this happen - and in such a short time. I didn't expect progress so fast, to be honest. Not only that - my kiddo actually looked forward to the sessions. Ahmad took the time to get to know his interests - chess and strategy games - and built the sessions around play. When we left today, for the last time, Finn said he was going to miss his friend. We have had the best experience! Thank you.

While she did make some improvements in her mobility she was not able to transfer out of her bed or wheelchair without assistance. She also wasnt able to walk independently with a walker during her last PT session yet they still seemed to think 8 hours of in home care upon returning home would be adequate. They sent us with a wheel chair that she cant even use because due to her arthritis she cant bend her knee enough to use the foot rests!!! They didnt give me a list of equipment I needed to get (aside from wheelchair, walker, and bedside camode) when her in home caregiver arrived this morning (her first morning at home) she asked about a lift belt and she was shocked they didnt send her with one. My mother ended up back in the ER after a sleepless night for both of us with her in so much pain. Encompass refused to take her back and her physician there blatantly LIED to her ER Dr about her abilities prior to discharge. The DR in the ER absolutely didnt belive them as she has eyes on her now and can see how in pain she still is. What they have done is criminal and I am FOURIOUS that they would out right lie to cover their asses. Believe all the one star reviews and try somewhere else, the hospital is now working on getting her transferred somewhere else with, hopefully, competent staff. STAY AWAY is my only advice here.

My daughter went to speech here for about five to six months in 2017. She never really warmed up to…read morethe therapist but that wasn't necessarily the fault of the therapist. I'm giving them one star because of what happened after we stopped going. I had always paid my copay at the time of the visit every visit. At one point I asked if I had reached the maximum number of visits covered by insurance and was told that I had not yet and that when and if it happens they could ask for approval for more. We quit in late October 2017. I never heard anything about owing any money or that insurance had stopped paying until a year later when I received a letter from a collections agency for $112.28. I immediately called and spoke with Valerie who claims they sent me three bills that were never paid. I never received any bills from them. Because it was already in collections she claimed they couldn't do anything else. At no point did anyone call me to tell me my insurance visits had run out or that I owed any money. Since I had always paid my copay and never received anything from them I assumed that either I had not reached the maximum number of visits or that if I had that insurance had approved additional ones. Now this bill for $112.28 is on my credit report as past due and my credit is irreversibly damaged. I would think that after having established a personal relationship with the staff and the therapist and having always paid in full on the day of the visit, they could have reached out via email or phone. I'm extremely disappointed with how they treated us. As an update to this review. Over a year later, the collections is the only negative not perfect item on our credit report. Yet because of $112.28 the mortgage we are currently applying for will have a significantly higher rate. Our credit fell from 830 to 690 all because of the incompetency of CSTCs billing department. It is going to cost tens of thousands of dollars in extra interest. Words cannot express my discontent and frustration.

Felt like a number with no individualization to my child's care plan. Even worse, towards the last few months the sessions always started late and ended early. They even "discharged" him when he still clearly needs more assistance.
