Where do I begin, The WORST business decision our company has ever made. SEO Haus has done nothing for us and actually caused our company to LOSE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. We started in March with a campaign for Air conditioning repair for Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hills, Orange and Brea. The whole thing was so straight forward but alas in the end we got Furnace repair in San Clemente and on page 3, whoopi !! Here is the best part, we have had a functioning site for over 4 years without any issues. We acquired a new domain name so we transferred and that is when it all came apart. We lost the ability to receive our forms from potential customers and it was during the peak period. We have built everything around these forms. Now after we lost out on all the potential calls, they blame AOL. Turns out it is in the scripting but can they fix it, NO !!!! After 2 months they still do not work. Now instead of helping us they get all indignant and act like it is my fault. I had begged for a solution and they told me to use my computer guy instead. I said I hired you to do this. Then they blamed our server but we are with GoDaddy. Since their billing cycle was the at the beginning of the month, I asked for the monthly $995 refunded since they could not fix anything and showed us 0 results as far as SEO and it was only 5 days into the period. The following is the copy and pasted response from Billy: Hey Frank! This is Billy Canu owner of SEOhaus. We don't feel comfortable with offering a refund after the man hours put into your account and have no problem continuing services down the road if you get your website figured out with your IT person. I will even through in a free month for you as a gesture of support with your issues you had with your server. I have also CC'd my lawyer on this e-mail if you needed his information. Lets end any aggressive/weird back and forth with the happy line at the end of your signature "Live to Love and Love to Live" we hope you know our intentions always working on your account were to "live to love". Thank you, Billy This is a Business owner ??? Never did he admit fault or never did he ever contact me previously in regards to my issue. This company has failed miserably in producing any kind of work. I had asked them more than 5 times to remove an option on my website and they still havent. I had asked them to remove it for almost a year. My fault for not closing my account w them, i shouldve just found another graphic design company to work on my website right after the 2nd time i asked them. I was also charged a "late fee" for not paying on time even though im enrolled in autopay with them, i hadnt changed my cc info so there shouldnt had been a problem. When i told them there must be a typo on their end they still charged me a late fee. I dont know how this company is still in business. If you scroll all the way down to reviews not recommended theres some 1 star reviews that are hidden. I was introduced to CreativeHaus by one of my best friends from college. I'm an Attorney with a small firm in Houston, TX. I was slightly hesitant to work with another small business that's so far away, but because of my friend's recommendation I decided to try it out. The way they sell their website services is unlike anything I've been able to find. Most places want a huge downpayment, $2.5k - $5k, and then you are responsible for hosting and maintenance. CreativeHaus just charges a small monthly fee, with no contract, and you get unlimited edits. They host the website and you retain ownership of the design. It's really a great model and I'm surprised more competitors haven't caught on. I've been a client for over a year, and plan on being one for sometime. I am writing this review, because the other reviews on Yelp encouraged me to sign up with SEO Haus. I worked with SEO Haus for 8 months, and I was not at all impressed by their service. They were unorganized, uninformed, and took no time to understand my website. I absolutely gave them enough time to prove themselves in an SEO world, and they truly did not prove themselves at all. They barely looked at my on-page optimization until 6 months after working with me, (after I informed them I was switching SEO firms). They begged me to stay and attempted to clean up my on-site optimization (something that should have been done 6 months prior). After another two months of working with them I decided I could not take their unprofessional manner any longer. For the money I spent with SEO Haus, all I got out of it was a lot of BS spun to me, and I was not impressed. We worked with SEOHaus for just over a year. We experienced extensive turnover (3 or 4) with our account managers and we feel it had a negative effect on our campaign. We advised that we would cancelling our contract and were advised of their cancellation policy, which we complied with. However, they continued to charge us for 3 additional months. When we inquired after the first month, there was no response. We finally connected after the third month of charging. They acknowledged the error and advised they were unable to credit the amount all at once, which we can understand. After nearly a week, we followed up with them regarding status of the credits. They claimed to have credited my card for one month and they would be sending me a credit receipt for the one month they credited. I've asked for their receipt of this and none received thus far. I checked with Amex and they confirmed that no credit was issued and their statement of having credited it was untrue. I am a traditional artist that works in oils, and to say that I am digitally challenged is a huge understatement! Here are three reasons why CreativeHaus fails: (1) They made a promise to execute but failed miserably. (2) They took my money, yet I have almost nothing to show for it. (3) They ignored design & development needs. I contracted CreativeHaus to design an build an original three-page site for my company. After laying out all of the details explicitly at the start of our term, they told me they were able to accomplish the task in 6-8 weeks. That was when all the chaos started. They never met a promised deadline, and when I began to inquire close to the mark they would always give the the generic "it's our top priority" answer. When they did manage to produce something tangible, it was nothing like what we had requested, and so more revisions had to be done. Of course, this conveniently delayed our project several times, pushing us to pay another monthly fee. Then, after having all the project details for months, they told us, "Sorry, we don't have the expertise to finish this." After nearly three months and $1000, all we have to show for it is a weak apology and page templates that look like something a junior coder cut and pasted from an old project that he hated. Their services were a total waste of time and money and we will never use their services again. read more
