What I love about going to Dr. Goduco's clinic is that even though she has to deal with so many patients in one day, she still greets everyone with a cheerful expression the moment they enter. While other people may be scared of their orthodontist, I feel confident and safe with Dr. Goduco because she seems genuinely dedicated to building a good rapport between her and her patients. She's convinced me that the dentist's chair doesn't have to be a scary place for children, adolescents, or even adults. Plus, she knows what her patients want. There's a TV in her clinic where you can watch the latest seasons of Modern Family, Fresh Off the Boat, Adventure Time, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and other TV shows and movies while she works on your teeth. Just saying. Honestly, I used to have really gross dental hygiene until she helped me realize what the stakes were if I didn't improve my habits. At the end of the day, we're both working toward the same goal: a bright smile with healthy gums and sparkling white teeth.

The medical records staff should undergo Values Education so they know how to assist people and treat everyone with respect.

Also, the appearance of the place is slightly dilapidated. A lot of the furniture, ceiling panels etc. are in need of repair. The hygiene is not what it should be either. Their restroom lacks soap, toilet paper and paper towels and there are no dispensers for hand sanitizer for patients can use. You'd expect a higher level of hygiene from a medical facility.

So to avoid this problem, what the nice people over at the clinic and my mom did was to let me get used to the chair at a very young age, they'd let me sit there and watch while my mom had her teeth cleaned. I've been going there since then and I have always been happy with their service. They're really nice people and they would call you ahead of time to remind you of your next appointment, I mean you can opt not to go they'd just remind you that it's time to get your teeth cleaned. They offer other dental services there as well and if you need a specialist, they know the best ones in town and they'll gladly point you to the right direction.

He's owed this clinic since I was a baby and every time I'd go there, they liked to remind me of the fact that I used to go on the baby weighing scale and that my file is so thick they need a whole folder for it. Thankfully they changed that and sort of gave me a fresh start, file wise. It'd also be sort of awkward when I'm at the waiting area with a bunch of kids and my name gets called and I have to go in. But that's just it, he knows my medical history very thoroughly and whatever it is that I'm sick with, he knows how to cure me. The place is really nice. It's airconditioned, clean, and the couches are comfortable. There's a television available in the waiting area. It really does look like a pristine medical spa. The process was pretty quick and simple--it won't last longer than fifteen minutes. They cleaned the targeted area and then did the diamond peel. The discomfort will depend on the settings they have the machine on, so speak up if you feel too much pain. One session won't do much good, but a few will make remarkable differences depending on the severity of your problem. In my case, I just wanted a little bit of whitening and smoothening, and I saw marked improvements after five sessions. I do want more though and will be returning to Cosmedics soon.

When you had the best talaga, you can really compare especially with my daughter's feedback din. I would always go back here when we visit Ph. I met Dr. Elmie Ragas in Cagayan de Oro through my host during a Mindanao trip. Dr. Ragas talked…read moreabout the organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs she and her husband were planting in Mindanao and turning into natural supplements. It was interesting as she had these eye drops from natural flower enzymes that reportedly cured eye diseases like cataracts. I bought some of these and gave it to my family and relatives. My grandmother's blurred vision gradually improved. My relatives with minor eye problems also reported better vision. Dr. Ragas has other supplements, but it is the eye drops that I really keep buying as they are what my family and relatives need. And the price is far lower that that of other supplements, which would usually be P1000 or up for a bottle - I suppose it's because the ones from Dr. Ragas are locally made. While her clinic is really based in Mindanao, she also shares a clinic with other doctors in Paco, in the same building as the L'eau Vive restaurant, and across Robinson's. She has supplements in stock there, where I went to for my next purchases. She flies occasionally to Manila also to give workshops. I attended her workshop on the importance of knowing your dominant hand (left or right) and your blood type, and acting accordingly. I found that there are certain food, exercises, and health practices more suited for certain blood types and dominant hand. For example, for my blood type and my dominant hand, I am more suited for a hard massage than a soft massage. Actually, that's what I preferred even before I attended this workshop. To demonstrate whether a certain food or health practice is beneficial to a person or not, Dr. Ragas conducts the muscle strength test - after eating, or even smelling, that certain food or doing that health practice, does the person's muscles weaken or strengthen? Interestingly enough, my muscles weakened with a soft massage and they strengthened with a hard massage. Of course, this is not yet 100% proven science but it's nice to know this information and apply it especially if it won't hurt to do so and would more likely benefit.
