At barely 21 years of age, (over 10 years ago), I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder of…read moreunknown origin. The symptoms were debilitating and specialist after specialist offered nothing but shoulder shrugs and prescriptions that were supposed to manage my symptoms. Instead, the symptoms grew worse and nothing was being done to address the root cause of the problem. Growing discouraged and depressed, a friend referred me to Dr. Perkins. I had never been to a chiropractor and I had heard my share of stories, but at the this point, I had nothing left to lose. Upon meeting Dr. Perkins and his friendly staff, I felt immediately at ease, even optimistic! His bedside manner is professional, compassionate, and steeped in integrity. Through regular chiropractic adjustments, detoxification protocols and nutritional supplementation, my symptoms began to disappear and I began to feel whole again. He has a double degree, he is a naturopath, and a Chiropractor. He really spends time with each patient, and uses all his skills to get to a solution. His staff is kind a knowledgeable. Apparently the staff feels this is negated because they get a new doctor - ? It was one of the worst adjustments I've ever had. It was an appointment weeks away. That isn't patient care. The office tends to be busy constantly which is great, but the downfall is they tend to understaff. It's not a call center, you can't leave patients waiting while the patients check out chat it up with the receptionist. They are short staffed only Stacy and the message therapist prep the patients. They stack patient appointments so you don't get seen in a timely manner when 3 people all show up for a 4o'clock appointment. Dr.Dotto does a good job of working on your back problems where as Dr.Tagai just does a basic adjustment. I will not be returning.
