I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this SERVPRO location was bad enough that I…read morefeel obligated to warn other homeowners. I hired them to do a dust seal and containment while my whole house plumbing was being redone. The upstairs containment failed during the job, and when they removed their plastic downstairs, they pulled paint off my ceiling. Their own internal notes acknowledge both the failed containment and the ceiling damage. Instead of taking responsibility and working with me to fix it, the communication from the office was chaotic and misleading. They later claimed I "never responded" to their project manager, even though I have multiple emails in the same thread showing that I replied and tried to connect. Then, on December 2, things went from frustrating to outrageous: Around 9:00 a.m., I received the first invoice I had ever seen for the remaining balance. Roughly two hours later, I got a call from someone named Patricia Martinez, who immediately threatened to put a lien on my house if I didn't pay right away. This was despite the invoice itself saying 15-day terms, despite the documented defective work and damage to my ceiling, and with zero acknowledgment of that damage or my good-faith attempts to resolve things. Threatening to encumber a homeowner's title within hours of sending the first bill, in the context of a disputed and partially defective job, is completely inappropriate and felt like bullying, not customer service. In the end, I paid the bill simply to protect my home and move on, not because I think the job was done properly or this was handled professionally. If you're a homeowner considering this franchise, be very cautious and get everything in writing--especially around workmanship, damage, and billing.

I used ServPro of North Atlanta, GA for the restoration service due to a water leak from A/C unit…read morein the Attic. The crew arrived on time, installed the fans and did the necessary clean up. One of the crew members named John Smith promised me that the total cost of service will not go beyond $1,200 and he will see if he could bring down the total cost since I am paying 100% cost out of pocket. Fast forward after 3 day when the fans were removed, I called the ServPro office for final cost and Sheree Smith from the billing department told me to wait for couple of days and promised to discuss the charges with me before charging my credit card. The next day I saw a charge of $ 1,495.21 on card by ServPro which is $295.21 above the amount I was told. Spoke to Sheree Smith about being overcharged and she told me to look into it but since then I haven't heard back from her after following up with multiple calls, voice mails and emails. John Smith who initially promised me $1,200 is not answering his phone either. This company is running a scam by committing a reasonable cost initially and later overcharging. Please don't use ServPro if you don't want to get ripped off!
