Lots of fun renting their Polaris SXS! The trails were really well kept and open, the machines were brand new, the folks at the desk and helping us get acquainted were really helpful and informative, and made sure we knew to use a trail map. We even saw some of their crew members collecting trash some customers had tossed out of their car - everything was super clean. Very fun day, would definitely rent again! read more

This place was nice BUT. They really need to update their maps they hand out dated 2011. We were on trails marked blue but were clearly red. If a person isn't experienced in riding, they could get in huge trouble. I'm sure they started out blue but are no longer blue. Trails need to be better marked also. I'm sure no one from the company has actually been on them for years to check things out. NEXT is the house we rented. Place was disgusting. It was called Old Country Cottage and they weren't kidding. It looked like an old tool barn that they slapped some lipstick on and called it a day. The floors were very uneven. The window a/c units were disgusting and ready to either fall out the windows or just crap themselves and were very loud. The furniture looked like they dug it out of a dump. The deck furniture was an old filthy dirty church pew covered in mud. The towels looked to be about 15 years old. If you don't mind this and listening to 4wheelers FLYING on the road at all hours, this place is for you. I would expect a little more for $175/night. This house needs burned to the ground and the cleaning person fired. That is all. read more

please don't rent ATV's from Brimstone. They will charge you for bogus charges without telling you, they just charge your credit card. Do the research and read the other reviews and you'll see a trend. You can't get a call back or email either. read more

This is not a review in regards to our experience riding brimstone trails, my intention is to share our experience of our stay at brimstone. We stayed at brimstone in their "town house." While I do understand that the advertisement for the rental stated that there is traffic noise, it neglects to explain how awful the noise is. When I called I spoke to someone who made it sound as if the traffic noise was from the atv's riding through the area. This is definitely not the case. The house is directly located on the side of a two lane BUSY road. There were many times when we woke up frightened because we thought a freight train was coming through the house. Do not stay in this house you will regret it!!! I honestly can not believe that they would even consider renting this property. The noise was a nightmare. It was very hot and the AC did not work. And in their welcome package it tells you to open the windows so you can get fresh air instead of using the AC.... who's going to open a window when tractor trailers are flying down the road!? We stayed here for 4 nights and it cost us about $1400. You couldn't pay me to stay here again. As for the trails they weren't terrible(but they don't exactly mark them well if at all.) Last year we stayed at royal blue, which I would recommend any day over staying at brimstone club house. I enjoyed royal blue more, not to mention brimstone is in a dry county. read more

We've been here twice this year. The first time we came they had switched our campsites from the ones we had reserved... without telling us. Not just ours, but our entire group with 8 or 9 rvs. The second time we came, they "lost" our reservation. You should understand that these campsites were poorly planned. There are campsites on the outer ring, and then there are about 15 sites crammed in the middle. You are right on top of each other. There's only about three feet between spots. Plus you have a someone parked directly behind you or in front of you. The second time we specifically reserved a spot on the outer circle to avoid being crammed in the middle. And they lost it. They will just switch your RESERVED spot. They lose reservations. The campground is poorly designed. No thanks. We will not be back here again. read more

The riding here was decent, but they have a lot that could be improved on. The app isn't great, and if you're going to put the effort into an app, why wouldn't you have closed trails marked on the app? Oh, and if you want a paper map, they charge you for it! Lots of garbage all over the trails and it didn't appear that the trails were maintained at all. They really should have someone riding them every week and cleaning up the trash and downed trees. We'd come back to ride, though. We wouldn't ever stay in any of bunkhouses ever again. GROSS! Everything was so dirty when we checked in, we felt like we needed to scrub it before we could use it. There were cockroaches in the living space, bugs all over the bathroom, the shower curtain was covered in mold, the sheets were stained with holes in them like mice had been chewing on them. Just really nasty. Probably ok for a group of guys who want to get drunk and pass out, but not for a family. When I told the staff, they sent the owner out with a can of raid. I told them again upon checkout and their answer was, we'll let the cleaning lady know. So... maybe the next person will have less grossness. They ask you to put everything in garbage bags in the covered trash can outside, but don't provide any trash bags. The outside gathering area is decent... but you get to sit and listen to air conditioners running constantly so loudly that you can barely hear each other talk. Our window looked out into the neighbors gathering area... weird. Good concept, just really poor execution/maintenance on these bunkhouses. read more

Do not rent cabins from Brimstone! They will accuse you of breaking things to get extra money from you! No call backs from the owner after a month of calls!!!! We have spent thousands of dollars on cabins and never had the issues like Brimstone! Beware!!! read more

Increased pricing every year, over rated, $75 concerts that in reality aren't worth half that, same vendors every year, talk it up like there is so many and then you get a handful, no communication about the delayed concert last night due to weather! Clusterfuck of people with no organization! Blocked me from their FB page for giving my opinion! Spent the weekend at the campground. We brought an RV plus multiple tents and had an amazing time. The grounds were beautiful and the trails were a blast. One large recommendation is to update the signage a long the trails. A simple topological map doesn't cut it. With a place of this size it takes 2 seconds to get lost, so larger signs with trail #'s and even a "you are here" map every once in awhile would make this the ultimate playground read more

Brimstone is a decent place to ride but be aware the trails are not always marked correctly. Also, know that the cabins are, for the most part, privately owned so if you have any issues with them that would prompt any type of refund Brimstone has no control over that. We stayed in the camper at the campground and there was no electricity the first night. We contacted the owner and he would not issue us a partial refund for that night and he turned around and claimed we had broken the dining table or some such nonsense. Stay away from the camper. read more

Wouldn't even rate it at a start if I didn't have to good trails but they are money hungry after dealaying the concert and sending people back to the camp the concert restarted at 1 am without notifying anyone and then the singer just played a few acoustic songs while they was taking the stage down so they wouldn't have to give refunds look for wind rock or royal blue atleast they are honest people read more

Trail system is one of the best (our favorite) in the south east. Have been coming several times a year for five years. The staff, especially Erika and Donica, always make sure we are taken care of. The old campground is still our favorite, with several full RV hookups along the river and water and power everywhere else.
