I think I spent half an hour looking at all the amazing Little Prince items. This little shop has books, journals, bookmarks, mugs, dishes, scarves, shirts, postcards, stuffed animals, bags, toys, figurines, cards, pictures, baby bibs, cookie cutters, key chains, onesies... Anything and everything Little Prince! The owner is super friendly and very nice to talk to. The music is calming, the shop is orderly and well stocked. This was the best store I've visited my whole trip in Europe! Next time I'm in Paris, I'll visit again for sure! I can't recommend this lovely little store highly enough- just visit you'll be so glad you did!

The night that we were headed towards the…read moreEiffel tower and were walking past shops I remember my eyes immediately zeroed in on the floral designs and meticulously organized display case and I mentally thought to myself: "I'm going to stop by tomorrow." and so I did, and initially I walked away having thought that I spent too much but then when I compared the expense to what it cost back in the US, I realized that shopping here is a really good deal and I would definitely recommend that if you're looking to buy gifts; this is a must stop. They have a good variety of sets from full size bottles to miniature sets. Some that come with just parfume, eu de toilette or a combination of soap, gels and parfums. I saw that prices ranged from 16 - 24 Euro for the miniature sets, but the prices are also reasonable for single sized parfum and cologne bottles. Yes, they offer cologne for men here and I was really impressed with how well all of them seemed to smell. I ended up buying a full sized bottle for my brother while I was here, as well as gifts for some of my friends. The lady tending to us was really kind, and she allowed us to take our time and even included individual gift bags as well as a variety of samples for us and the people we were buying for. The gift bags alone seemed to be a work of art and we left very happy and content with our purchases. The only problem now is, where will we shop when we run out of products we bought? Maybe that will be an incentive to return...

The gift shops at the Eiffel Tower are managed by the Société d'Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel…read more(SETE). There are several gifts shops, some on the ground level and then others higher up. Lots of cool Eiffel Tower things. I bought a baseball cap and a coffee mug. From the SETE website - what they sell: "Eiffel Tower miniatures and key rings, post cards, medals as well as stationery, clothing, tableware... These items, some of which cannot be found elsewhere, are suited to all ages and budgets." If you are looking to find Eiffel Tower socks, however, well, I had no luck.... You can click on the Yelp link to their website and purchase from there if you forgot to get something when on site. Interesting fact - according to Wikipedia the SETE "now considers any illumination of the tower to be under copyright. As a result, it is no longer legal to publish contemporary photographs of the tower at night without permission in France and some other countries." Another interesting fact - recently (December 2014) gift shop workers went on strike to demand a 300 Euro salary raise (a month?). There are apparently about 50 employees. There are about 7 million visitors to the Eiffel Tower a year.

If from the US and looking for something for the kids, while this store is full of toys-- it's mostly items that can be found (or are made) in the states. Melissa & Doug and brands of that nature. I was in a pinch needing something for my young boys and did find some pop guns and figurines (that tip over when touched and pop back) for a decent price and they seemed 'French' enough to satisfy me, and hopefully them. Cute store, shop owner was so sweet to us and lots of fun/easy/small things to stow in your luggage for the littles.

Although there were many toys one can find in the states, there were several gems as well, like charming and unique music boxes. What can be more French than a miniature carrousel that plays Ma Vie En Rose? We also found some wooden tops that were different from any we had seen before. The owner was very friendly as well and spoke English. There is also a small room in the back of the store where there are puppets galore.

The t-shirts had some adorable designs and drew me into the store, but they were quite expensive (over 30 Euro?). They had adorable laundry and lingerie bags for around 20 Euros. I ended up buying a beautiful individually-crafted tote bag for just under 16 Euros, marked down from 22. I love that the bag isn't a tourist souvenir, but more like a genuine, unique French tote. And so affordable! It definitely turned out to be my favorite souvenir on my trip to France, and I wish I had bought more! The store workers were nice and spoke both French and English. They even gave me a few Fragonard perfume samples with my purchase.

There's a large range of songs including both typical and eclectic choices: Classical (Canon in D / La Mer), Standards (What a Wonderful World, Macarena), and TV/Film (Amelie, The Simpsons) to name a few. You can then choose from a variety of hand-driven or automatic enclosures to complete the set. My gifts also made it back home to NYC with me undamaged if fragileness is a concern, just handle with care. These musical boxes were amazing gifts for my friends & family (and for me)! The owner made my visit very special--she is so incredibly nice and caring, and we had great conversations about music as well. I recommend making a point to visit this store if you're in the area!
