Finding a seat is virtually impossible when busy; seating is sparse, and on busy days you might wait 20 minutes just to snag a standing table. Be patient, that wait is absolutely worth it.

For me, the mixture, half of each, makes the perfect cup of coffee, so I get equal portions and have it ground in the shop. They also have a great selection of tea pots, kettles and stovetop expresso makers and teas from the Azores and from Mozambique. Also, the guy who runs the shop has great updates on the status of the coffee crops in various Portuguese-speaking countries.
