Salty snapper

We arrived to the restaurant at 1:00pm, nice weather and a good day; but everything was good until we started receiving, the fish broth, it was cold, we needed to send it back, that was the first sign. But we said, maybe they just opened. Asked for the appetizers, which arrived about 35 minutes later, Piña colada, took an extra 10 minutes. Bread was brought to the table because we asked for it. Flavor was off, not like it has been the previous visits. We asked for our order twice, 2 mofongos with lobster, one fried Snapper with Mofongo and a snapper fillet in garlic butter, with mashed potatoes. My daughter's snapper, was excessively salty, and she likes her food seasoned. Had to returned the snapper because it could cause anyone a mild heart attack. The lobster, over cooked and no flavor. Wow!! The snapper filet was ok, was supposed to be in garlic butter sauce. None existent in the plate. And the onions were raw.... It seems that there is no communication between the kitchen, the floor staff and the owner who is the cashier. Kitchen staff doesn't have quality control, where the food is going out with too many issues, plates were not properly vetted. Let's do the math, we arrived at 1:00pm, food arrived to the table at 2:30... I went to the server, asked for the manager, and she didn't tell her. I went to her myself and explained the service and disappointment. She said that they had a big table. I told her that it's not an excused being a Sunday on a long weekend being a restaurant that has so much staff. Bad seasoned food is not something that you can relate to one big table. She said, she was the owner and started with a teary eye. Sorry, but I can't sympathize with the service that we had, this was a bad service from the beginning to the end. You have a great place and a great location, please retrain your staff and please work on your quality control in the kitchen, hope it gets better.

Octopus and rice, snapper, steak and octopus and pork chop. Just get the snapper and avoid everything else.

My son found this place based on google maps reviews. Just get the snapper fish which everyone raves about- that was best among the 4 dishes we had. Avoid the octopus as they were not fresh. Mofongo was bland. Steak and pork chop was mediocre. $120 bill and no one really finished their food. I would avoid and try another place.

This place was a great surprise for us. Everything was exceptional, food, service, prices, ambience. Im unable to identify any issue with the food. service was spot on and the ambience.. ohhhh the ambience.. Im adding few photos of our afternoon view. Perfect puertorican seafood nothing else to say. I'll be a regular for sure.. proba the best rest in Cabo Rojo

We found Buenas Vibras while visiting Puerto Rico and I'm so glad we did. The food was really good,…read moreand everything we ordered was flavorful and came out quickly. It was one of those places where everyone at the table was happy with their meal. I ordered churrasco with mofongo and it was delicious and juicy with an incredible garlic sauce. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcome and checked on us throughout our meal. A huge plus was the parking, it had private parking, which isn't always the case when you're traveling around the island. The only thing I'd mention is that the restaurant is outdoors and doesn't have AC, so it can get pretty warm. But honestly, once the food came out and we settled in, it wasn't a big deal. Overall, we had a really nice experience and would definitely come back. Good food, great people, and a relaxed atmosphere. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out! 10/10

Very disappointing experience at Buena Vibra in Joyuda. We waited over an hour for our food. When…read moremy churrasco finally arrived, it was raw even though I ordered it medium. I told the waiter, and she said she was sorry but refused to take it back and told me I still had to pay for the plate even though I didn't eat it. After that, I ordered an appetizer cause I though it will be serve faster, the appetizer "goyitos", came out extremely dark, looked burnt, and tasted burned. When I pointed it out, the waiter said they're supposed to be like that. Between the long wait, undercooked food, and the way everything was handled, the customer service was terrible. This place was recommended by family and I regret coming. I won't be back and I won't recommend it.

We got a seat outside, overlooking the water with the most beautiful view. (If you come you have to sit outside!) They also had live music which made it so special. We decided to order the platanos rellenos of ropa vieja and they were so good. Being from Miami and missing home, these definitely hit the spot. We also ordered sorullitos which were fried perfectly and so tasty. For dinner we split a cubano sandwich and it was so hearty. The pork was done to perfection and it was a perfect meal to split since we wanted to pick at different things. I can't wait to go back and try one of their dinner entrees!

A wonderful meal in Joyuda! We drove through torrential rain and flooded roads to have lunch here…read moreand it was totally worth it. We sat on the covered porch on the water as we waited for the rain (and the roads) to clear. I parked across the street, which was fine. The patio was nice, right on the water with boats bobbing and nice views. Service was team-style, with a young and enthusiastic staff who spoke English but really challenged my Spanish ability as well! Food came out pretty quick. I had a mojito which frankly was far from the best I had in this trip (it was t too sweet but the mont leaves seemed whole, not muddled). We had the conch ceviche which was EXCELLENT. We also split the seafood paella, which was also EXCELLENT. I was also very jealous of the whole red snapper being served at the table next to us, but no regrets - the squid, conch, shrimp, octopus, and mussels in the paella were all fantastic. Nice views, nice service, great food. Would highly recommend.
