When I had basically given up on seeing dermatologists for my alopecia, my brother did a bit of research on the internet and found the Brisbane Trichology Clinic. The woman who ran it was named Janne Scougall, and it was thanks to her that I got down to the bottom of my condition and what I could do to address it. She took a very natural approach, recommending a number of supplements and vitamins that had trialled successfully with her other patients. Within two years, I went from being completely bald to having a full head of hair. Since then, there have always been patches here and there, and my baldness comes and goes according to hormonal shits and stress, but Janne is always on hand for follow up appointments (the clinic itself is located on the bottom floor of her family home with the entrance hidden away in the back garden) and vitamin supplies. Janne has a good stock of products and is always up to date with the latest technologies. She began as a hairdresser and became a trichologist when she found alopecia in her clients fascinating. Currently, she is the president of the International Association of Trichologists. read more
