The 10% refund is a joke at this point considering she ruined the dress by steaming. Amsale confirmed that the dress wasn't supposed to be steamed. At this point, looking back I feel Kelly knew that she ruined the dresses and was trying to get away with it. She probably figured we wouldn't notice since we purchased online. And if we did notice she probably thought we would fall for her blaming us. That's probably why she was defensive and rude/accusatory from the beginning. If you're thinking of buying from here - DONT! I encourage you to look elsewhere or to buy directly from the dress company you're looking into. We would've paid Amsale the same amount and probably had WAY better customer service. Plus we wouldn't have ended up with ruined dresses. I am beyond disturbed on how I was treated after purchasing a dress from this store. We ordered the dresses in May for my cousin's wedding (in August). She lives in Tennessee and we live in Georgia so my sister and I ordered via email. My sister opened her dress the day we received them and noticed there were several stains. Later that night I opened my dress and quickly examined it to see if there were any stains. There were - so I also emailed Kelly to let her know. At first she said there were no stains when she steamed them. I asked if it was possible that they were stained when she steamed them. She said that was not possible. Basically here we are - the dresses are stained and there's no time to order different dresses. It didn't sit right the way she sent emails basically accusing us of doing something to the dresses. She said with more documentation she was WILLING to consider the unlikely fact that BOTH dresses were stained while in separate plastic bags. At this point I made it clear I didn't like that it felt she was insinuating that we did something to the dresses. Her response is below. It goes on basically still saying that they didn't leave her store like that but with more proof she's willing to give a 10% refund. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect. First of all, she brings up that we considered not being in the wedding. Which is false, only I didn't know if I was going to be in the wedding. But I am (which is frankly none of her business). Second, we never asked for a refund or tried to "find a way out". She could've done what most dress places do and offered a simple dry cleaning service - but no. She's quick to accuse paying customers and validating it by saying it happens all the time. Hello, I am not every other one of your customers. You shouldn't treat all customers as if they're the same. At the very basis you need to give good customer service when someone buys a dress from your shop. No one wants a ruined dress. This is so unreal. I don't recommend anyone buy via email/online with this shop. Make sure you do it at the store where you can open it there to see if there are any problems. Or better yet - find a different store with better customer service. Bristol and Johnson City (even Knoxville) have plenty of other choices.

Sherry is the owner operator and is kind, knowledgeable and helpful without the "hard sell". She does alterations ON THE SPOT....amazing! We hosted our client Christmas event at Weaver House this week, and I seriously cannot say enough…read moregood about this place. It is a beautiful event space, both inside and out. It was a very chilly night so we didn't utilize the outside space, but having seen it in daylight previously, I can say that the gardens are beautiful and picturesque. The inside is warm and inviting and has beautiful use of wood in the structure. The sound system is amazing for background music. The high-top and 8' tables and chairs were nice looking and in great shape, which is very important. The bar area is beautiful and was thoughtfully accented with holiday decorations. First, I would like to say what an amazing, accommodating staff!! Alexandra, the wedding and events director, was so helpful, pleasant, kind, efficient and responsive. She is totally amazing. She was on-site, helping clear dishes and making sure everything went smoothly throughout the entire evening. We typically serve "heavy hor d'oeuvres" in a buffet style, which is what we did for this event. Chef Joey was so easy to work with in setting the menu and was open to suggestions. He and his staff did a phenomenal job on everything from the amazing food to making sure the buffet was nicely arranged and full of food at all times. Let me say again, the food was amazing! The bartender was pleasant, efficient and very nice. The drinks she made were great and my husband said she treated him like a king. We had such great response and reviews from our clients, many who have attended our Christmas events for many years. I've attended 4 events at this space and each one were great experiences. The first was our friends wedding and opening weekend for the venue. Food and drinks were both notch and the zen garden setting made for an impeccable time getting connected with other local businesses. Third was a special brunch event that the staff throw a few times each season to get locals into the space to enjoy. They had a jazz band and Chef Ward puts out beautiful and tasty brunch fare! We reserved a table for 20 as it was our close friends birthday celebration and everyone raved about the experience! Forth was another wedding with the same outstanding hospitality and genuine staff we met on our previous visits. We only knew a handful of others attending but the space made for an excellent backdrop to make new friends and dance the night away!!!
