Just had my engagement photos done by Brit this past weekend and it was an amazing experience! We will be using her for our wedding day photography as well. Brit is so sweet and easy to work with. After a few years of inherent forgiveness, I do feel the need to speak out. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We paid Brit very handsomely (almost $4000), for a terrible service. She lost our list of pictures we wanted (mom and bride, mom and groom...). We had to beg her to stay an extra 20 mins to take pics of our grandparents dancing. The album the was part of the FOUR THOUSAND DOLLAR package was at most a $50 snapfish album that was clearly printed from default with no input. The crease split the groom's face and other family members, even after a second attempt. Even more, Brit did zero research of the pre-wedding site after informed, requiring the groom to suggest photo locations, lighting, and shots in the midst of wedding day. So disappointed. My husband and I decided to get married downtown at the courthouse with about a month's notice. I assumed I would find a "photographer" and not a Photographer. I poked around craigslist and went to Britt's portfolio. I was really entraced with her style, it felt so casual and intimate, exactly what I had envisioned. I was over the moon when she had our date available. I felt so lucky! She showed up, immediately put my Very Shy Husband at ease, and shot from a distance during the ceremony. Afterward, we shot a few pictures on the lawn and then went across the street to get some photos in front of the sea with the boats in the background. We got married on a Hornblower Yacht, and although they had some recommended photographers, we just didn't feel a connection with them. I don't know where to even begin! When we first met her she was just amazing. She knew her stuff and had lots of samples of her work to show us. She has an amazing personality and always smiling. We got an engagement session with our wedding package and it was amazing. We felt so awkward to have photos taken of us but she made us feel very comfortable and it was a breeze.
