Liz met me at a work space near Liverpool Street station and reviewed my return, told me some additional forms to fill out this year, answered some questions on both my U.S. and U.K. filings. She was easy to deal with and really was keen to help. She also gave me the green light to do my taxes again on TurboTax. The only problem is she charges £300/hour + VAT. Being American and living over seas is a nightmare for taxes. I did my own taxes for several years and never could figure out if I was doing them properly. Unbelievable stress every year tax season came around. TurboTax just doesn't cut it for overseas filers, you're pretty much on your own. I threw up my arms and decided to find a company to do it.
