Their menu is fairly long, with a variety of both vegetarian and meat dishes, clearly separated. I had an unadventurous Nilgiri Korma, which is essentially a korma with a twist of rose petals. It was unexpectedly good though, and as per usual with Indian restaurants, I left absolutely full to the brim. They have an excellently stocked bar as well, which is a nice feature in the main dining room. If you're going to see a show, they do a few pre-theatre promotions, and I highly advise this place to begin a pleasant night of culture.

The takeaway side of the Viceroy is Great, normally I ring them place an order. And by the time i'm there the food is normally ready. A point I will make about the Viceroy, and the meals from there, is that they dont always taste the same. Which I see as a good thing, in that the food is made, and not due to them ordering in Gallons of sauces. The service is always great too. I'd recommend it, for dates, family get togethers, or even when stumbling home from the pub.

What they did was deliberately fleece me by charging me an extra £8 service charge rather than giving me the discount of £8 so they deliberately over charged me. The refund I was asking for on a £40 meal was only £12.10. I would not go to this place at all, they can't cook food it's awful that's why I requested a partial refund in the first place. The wait times are insane, waiter service is abysmal. Their staff are very unprofessional, that member of staff who was about to attack me was very shocked when I defended myself and I dare to think what he would have done to me if I had not any self-defence training, he was much larger than me and very athletic build dare I say more... To put this into context I am 5"5 and built like a twig you could put your thumb and index finger around my wrist and make them touch with ease... It takes a particular kind of immorality to attack someone of my stature over 8 pounds.

This is the option that I went for, and the meat of the chicken was good quality. I'm not too keen on spicy curries, but there was just the right amount of spice, so it was an enjoyable meal. It's excellent value for money; a main will cost around £6, with rice setting you back about £2.50. Worth a try - a good Indian in a nice neighbourhood.

The service is quite cheery here, and the food doesn't take too long, plus they're open really late. It's the only real curry house I can think to visit in the centre of town.
