Charity Shops are tons of fun to shop in, you never know what you're going to find, and often there are some real gems to pick up. The British Red Cross shop in Luton is of a decent size and carries a good selection of clothing, housewares, shoes, books, and other paraphernalia. This is one of the best charity shops I visit always. The shop is always neat and tidy. It has got different sections for different items such as curtains, toys and kids stuff,gents and ladies clothing,and homeware. It has even got many new items for sale. Many times just like any other shop they have offers like half price sale. So it makes more worth to buy the items. I have bought many household items including baby clothes for my daughter. As I love this shop, I even donate my unwanted goods to this shop. The staff is very friendly. They have even got trial rooms so we can immeditely try the clothes before buying. A good little charity shop. I'm a big fan of these shops - it helps to recycle products that might otherwise be thrown away, it helps give money to charity, and I love finding cheap books and CDs. Naturally there is a fair amount of tat, but there are usually good things mixed in. A good place to go if you need to save money - and these days, who doesn't?! read more
