I lived at Brittany Greens for over 7 years with my children. I have seen many unqualified employees in the office here come and go! Maintenance issues were never addressed in a timely manner. I had to wait 3 months to use my own washer and dryer, as the downstairs neighbor had issues and if I ran my washer, she would get a flood. So I was forced to go to the laundrymat for 3 months, which cost me time and money! I purchased a storage shed and it was broken into by the kids there that the parents do not watch. Due to the past office employees not running the proper background checks, we had many criminals, drug dealers living among us and averaged about 4 swat/drug busts per year! Last week there were 7 police cars here, yet another ciminal issue!! The vehicles here are often broken into and or vandilized. I do not allow my kids to go swimming in the pool here, as it is absolutely filthy! their filter has not worked in years, last year it was closed down due to a bacteria in the water, and also the year before children cut their feet open on the pool bottom that is like shards of glass as it was done cheaply and not smoothed out. Dogs often run loose here, and they have pitbulls, german sheperds, and other large breeds that are not allowed per the rental agreement, but thanks to them not caring in the office, here they are! Thankfully they recently terminated the last office assistant, she was friends with most of the tenants who also got arrested here, birds of a feather! We waiting 7 years for this place to improve, and be cleaner, safer etc, still waiting only it has gotten much worse. I am moving out within the next few months as my family deserves to live in peace and safety which will never be found here. The place is a complete mess, with trash over spilling from the dumpsters constantly, and the grounds have trash and weeds, zero curb appeal! Renter beware! I have since moved out of Brittany Greens, and I am thankful for the beautiful home I now live in and most importantly there is no price you can put on peace and feeling safe! In the 8 plus years I lived at Brittany Greens there was never any peace with all the drug traffic on this property, and the apartments are in terribly disrepair, the pool has received multiple health code violations for algae as well as children cut their feet open this past summer, as they did not properly sand the pool bottom as it is like shards of glass! Their solution over the summer was, just wear scuba booties, once again avoiding fixing the serious issue! I have recently been following their serious HUD violations that they are finally being held accountable for, as they should be. They have been tacking on extra charges via their online portal, but going back to past months' rent that was already paid, which is illegal. They will also call you down to the office at least a dozen times each year to re-do recertification paperwork and they will make changes and the date on that paperwork will be from months prior when it was already signed and completed, also a no no with HUD.
