Hi, we are fairly new residents of Syracuse UT and made what proved to be a valuable decision which was to purchase home backup generator and decided to all "Hawk Electrical" to install a 30A generator transfer switch on our home this past September. Both of them said we would need to add a subpanel to accommodate the electrical needs (trusting a few different pros) Hawk Electrical showed up and explained a subpanel didn't need to be added and it could be done much more simply and cost about $1200 less than my other estimates. He was able to come back later that night and take care of it.
