I went to a stylist before Alexis who made my hair a very light blond that did not go well with my complexion. MAKEUP ARTIST FROM HELL! Warning for all brides!…read more Stephanie is an average makeup artist, at best. The makeup is fine, nothing spectacular or worth booking again but the EXPERIENCE alone that I have had (and many brides I've spoken to have had) is not worth it. She is unorganized and unprofessional to say the least. Upon booking her for my wedding, she was dry, blunt and uninformative and made me feel like I was bothering her with the few questions I had. You'd think if someone is paying you that you'd be a little helpful in letting them know the details for the biggest event of their life. She never told me start times, how many makeup/hair stylists will be coming to my house, who will be doing my makeup, options or what is needed. I was provided with the bare minimum and went along with it because during covid it was tough to find vendors as they were all getting snatched up. Every time I called Stephanie she forgot who I was and asked me when my wedding was about 15 times. This made me uneasy, so each time I called or messaged her, I had to remind her the date, time, how many girls in my bridal party, etc. On the day of my trial (engagement shoot), she instructed me to visit the salon at a certain time, I arrived and waited 45 min until I got fed up and called her. She told me she got me mixed up with another 'Maddalena' and she just finished her makeup and thought it was me. This excuse was barely believable given I don't have a popular name. I did my own makeup given I ran out of time before the shoot. None the less, she offered me a free trial for another day. I used that free trial for my Bridal Shower. I gave her pictures for reference from a time I got my makeup done for my friends wedding and she did her own thing and my makeup looked nothing like it. Prior to the day of my wedding, I spoke with her assistant Alisha and I thought this is great, she is getting organized and got herself an assistant. Boy was I wrong. I asked Alisha a few questions leading up to the day and she was responsive. I asked her if we could move the start time from 6AM-10AM a little more later as my ceremony didn't start till 3PM. She said it couldn't be moved. Prior to this Stephanie had told me her brother was getting married in Ireland and she was getting on a plane that day to leave, so given that information, I figured she booked me early so she could jump on a flight. I then asked Alisha if we could split it up and have 4 girls at 6AM and 4 girls come at 7AM, she said that was fine. Day of the wedding, 6AM Stephanie's team starts to show up and I have my 4 bridesmaids at the house. I jump in the shower, not thinking I needed to be ready as bride's are done last typically. My sister comes up telling me that Stephanie wants all 8 girls at the house right now and we need to call them all to come. I hear Stephanie call me from downstairs 'Maddie, hey babe, we need to start you now or else we don't be done by 10'. Confused by this, I told her I made arrangements with Alisha about the bridesmaids and she didn't comment, she only said I need to get down there as asap. She started my makeup and hair by 6:30AM and was out the door by 7:30AM. Not only were my bridesmaids waiting around waiting for their turns to do makeup/hair (so early wake up call was not necessary), I was done my hair and makeup before anyone else was. Again, I wasn't pleased with my hair/makeup and I asked to change a bit but by this point it was too late. I know for a fact that Stephanie double/triple booked many weddings that day and wanted to cash in as much as possible before her flight. I've had many experiences with makeup artist before and they're all pleasant, helpful and take their time. She is unprofessional, rude and not worth a damn dime. I was so flustered and frustrated on the day of my wedding and I only wish that no other bride has to experience what I experienced, ON TOP of everything else a bride has to do to prepare for the day of her wedding. I know many brides/brides-to-be that have a few words to share about Stephanie and her services. Hoping no more brides get taken advantage of by this money-hungry MUA that needs to retire.

When I first booked her for prom she made a suggestion for the eyeshadow colors and I will admit I doubted her, but boy was I wrong. It looked amazing! I wish I had a close up picture of it, but I don't have one just far back ones. It was almost 3 years ago but I will never forget how wonderful it looked.
